This two bedroom apartment on the Royal Mile has two double bedrooms. One Kingsize bed, one queensize bed, a sofa bed and a rollaway single bed. One bathroom with full size bath and shower. 39in flatscreen TV with DVD player. Highspeed WiFi internet. Washer/dryer and full kitchen. This Apartment is in the heart of Edinburgh's historic Old Town. The building is over 300 years old. There are stairs to climb as it's on the forth floor (US fifth). Views of the Royal Mile, Arthurs seat and Carlton Hill.

If your coming for site seeing to Edinburgh or the Edinburgh Festival you'll be right where the action is. Walk to Edinburgh Castle up the Royal Mile or Holyrood Palace and the Scottish Parliament down the Mile. Easy walking access to Edinburgh Waverley train station, Princes Street shopping, St. Andrews Bus Station and the airport bus drop off point . Festival venues such as the Festival Theatre the Pleasance Theatre and of course all the Royal Mile entertainment are also within an easy walk.

Wonderful Apartment right on the Royal Mile. Awesome Views

This apartment was amazing. It was incredibly clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable and came with soft white down comforters. The location was excellent, and, although it was a walk-up, My husband and I (age 50 and 47) never had an issue with the stairs. We were up and down several times a day, and it was never an issue. The location was perfect. It is not "near" the Royal Mile; this apartment is on the Royal Mile. Also, the owner, Dan, could not have been more helpful. He contacted me right away and his father was there to take us through the apartment and give us the keys. There were three sets of keys which we found helpful as 3 of our adult children, as well as a niece and her husband, were all sharing this apartment. The extra keys allowed for more independence in choosing activities, so everyone had the freedom to come and go as they choose. We had a wonderful time in Edinburgh and plan on visiting again, and when we do, you can bet we will be contacting Dan about this perfectly placed flat.

As earlier reviews say, this location is great -- accessible to all of the sights in town, good transportation, restaurants and activities, and then you come back to a good night's sleep. The apartment is spacious, clean and well stocked with many things a traveler may need. Communication with the owner was friendly and prompt. Easy to recommend!

Great location in the middle of it all

We stayed three nights at this flat and were thoroughly satisfied. You can't beat the location on the Royal Mile, and the stairs were absolutely no problem. The floor plan worked great for six (grandpa, grandma, dad, mom, son, daughter). The kitchen was well equipped, even with coffee and tea. The owners are easy to work with and very responsive. We would stay here again and highly recommend it!

Right on the Royal Mile!

This was a great place to stay for my wife and kids. Its a quick walk around the corner to the train station and has all the amenities a modern family wants (Read Free Internet!). Beds were nice and comfy, linens and lots of towels were provided for us. The kitchen was great for fixing up a dinner or breakfast. Dan's dad even had Tea makings waiting for us when we got there, what a great base for your visit to the Royal Mile. We loved it.

Great stay in Edinburgh!

Highly recommend this flat for a lovely stay in Edinburgh. The location is perfect - right in the center but at the quieter end of the royal mile. The flat itself suited us perfectly - two grandparents, two adults and two small children (2 and 4 yrs) slept comfortably and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views! Kitchen was well-equipped, and lounge was very comfortable and a nice place to relax. The walk-up might not be for everyone but we had no problem at all.

Great Apartment!

I can't say enough good things about this apartment and the owners. The apartment is lovely, and in the best location possible. It's on a main street, just a short walk from all the major attractions; but, it is still far enough to be quiet at night. It's also very close to the train station! Lastly, the owners are wonderful. They were extremely timely in their responses and were very helpful! Overall, I would highly recommend staying here!
