The apartment is situated on the south coast in a delightful traffic free Menorcan village, a literal 5 minute walk to the beach of Binibeca - with its fine white sands and rich shades of blue crystal clear waters - renowned for its safe bathing. Regular bus and land-train service to Punta Prima (further along the coast) and into the market town of Mahon.Just a mile or so along the beach lies the delightful village of Binibeca Vell - renowned for its superb and fascinating architecture and its boutiques. Car and bicycle hire is available on the complex and the Diving School is situated 300 metres away. There is an excellent variety of restaurants, bistros and wine bars all within easy access of the apartment, together with a superb local bakery where you can enjoy an al-fresco breakfast.

Why Lisa chose Binibeca

The apartment is part of our family. It was originally purchased by my father in the 1980's, with a view to living there in the winter and doing yacht charters in the summer. When he passed away, my brother and I opted to keep the apartment. It is a true home-from-home and very loved!

We had another wonderful time in Menorca. It was great having a car this time - managed to explore alot more of the island (still lots left to see though). It was also very useful having a car on the last day as our flight wasn't until the evening - we drove into Mahon and had a relaxing lunch.



The apartment was clean when we arrived, the food pack was there and linen changed at the end of our first week - it was perfect for our needs again.

Twice as nice !!

My husband and I have recently enjoyed our second wonderful holiday staying in this special Menorcan apartment!
It has been extensively refurbished in the two years in between our visits, and it is such a lovely, smart, clean place to stay, close to the fab beach and great restaurants!
We look forward to our hat-trick of hols !!

Owner's Response: Having owned the apartment for 20 years, it has inevitably become a home from home. However, I always try to be objective and view it through the eyes of guests. In the past 12 months, the bathroom has been refurbished and a washing machine installed together with a completely new fitted kitchen, including dishwasher. Repeat bookings are the best form of endorsement, so a review such as this means the world - to know that other people are enjoying the apartment and loving this beautiful island as I do.

The location could not be better - for those who want to have beach, restaurants, cafes and points of interest all within walking distance! HOMELY RELAXING APARTMENT

Just back from two lovely weeks in Cala Torret and apartment 5774, The apartment was spotless and so well equiped, everything you need is there. A very good wlcome pack was waiting for us on arrival, so handy not to have to shop on the first day. We hired a car from the airport for our two weeks, good deals to be had if you book in advance. The directions given by Liza were easy to follow and we were in the apartment in less than an hour from the plane landing. The roads are very good and easy to navigate with signs on every junction.
we were amazed how beautiful and un commercilised Menorca was. We would have missed a hidden gem had it not been for a family wedding on the island. We saw most of the island but will return in the future to explore some more. Having looked at some of the other resorts and apartments we were considering we were glad we chose Cala Torret and Liza's place. The weather was sunshine all the time, not a drop of rain. Eating out was great, did not have a bad meal, plenty of choice.
If you want a quiet relaxing holiday with beach ,supermarket, bakery and restaurants all within a short walk then this is the place for you

Great Apartment

We had a great time staying here, nice and relaxing,The apartment is within easy reach of the beach, supermarket and bakery. Everything was nice and clean and had all you need for a self catering holiday. Lisa organised the transfers to and from apartment which made it hassle free, Richard and Brian who drove us there and back were very friendly and helpful. We used the local bus to travel into Mahon and enjoyed going on the road train to nearby Punta Prima. All in all would definately recommend.

Lovely family holiday

We had a great family holiday at Lisa's apartment. Everything was just as described. The beach was only 5 mins away and the kids enjoyed the shallow water. We also found the restaurant/pool nearby. The weather was hot and we were grateful for the fan and the window shutters allowing the sea breeze in. Recommend a car as we had lots of fun exploring the island. However, we liked this location best! Would love to return when visiting Menorca in the future. Thanks again Lisa for it all going so smoothly.

Perfect Holiday!

The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything we needed! There were 4 of us (2 young couples) and I chose Menorca because I feel at home there. The apartment is ideally located for everything, the beach, the shops, the land train. Bex who works at the Patisserie made our mornings! I cannot wait to come back next year! Thank you so much for an unforgettable holiday!

Notes Prices are in GBP based on up to 4 people sharing the accommodation and are inclusive of utilities, cleaning and linen for use within the apartment. Please take your own beach towels. For bookings of more than 2 weeks, a 10% discount is applied to the third week and each additional week thereafter. Changeover day is Friday, especially during peak season however; we can be flexible at other times.
A deposit of £100 per week (£150 in peak season) is required at time of booking. Full payment must be made 6 weeks prior to departure.

Notes:
Although a first floor apartment there is a short flight of wide stone steps (as shown in the photograph), leading to the apartment which is then all on one floor. The balcony has 3' high wall, making it safe for small children and has a sea view to the right - perfect for breakfast or a glass of wine to watch the sunset. Table and chairs are provided for the balcony and, being first floor, it offers seclusion from passing pedestrians.
