This stylish, quiet and light 3 bedroom apartment is situated in the L'Eixample, a district with beautiful and classically designed buildings created in the late 19th Century, bordering the (Ciutat Vella) the old City. We are just a 5 minute walk to Plaza Catalunya and the gourmet food emporium of El Corte Ingles, or the fashionable shopping on Passeig de Gracia. In the Gothic quarter the fresh food market “Mercat de Santa Caterina” its great restaurant & the beautiful Palau Musica and Las Ramblas are also a short walk. Head east & in 5 minutes you will find 'Parc De La Ciutadella' from there you can meander through the streets of 'El Born' and pass some time in the small eclectic bars, shops and restaurants of the area.
For something different visit the beach at Barceloneta, a short taxi ride, 25min walk, or 2 stops on the metro L4 from Sant Pere. There are plenty of things to do on the beach, windsurfing and kite surfing are popular. You can also enjoy a refreshing drink from one of the many beach bars, Chiringuito Pez Vela is one of the best, or just soak up the warmth of the Spanish sun. We provide a beach towel (on request) for each guest at Sant Pere.
Sant Pere is in a beautiful modernist building, an 'Edificio Senorial', and has a fabulous entrance. The apartment reached by elevator, is on the 2nd floor, overlooking a central courtyard area 'Manzana', with other interesting modernist architecture and terraces.
Being in a residential community Sant Pere will not be suitable for Hen or Stag nights or groups wishing to late night party.
We provide WiFi internet access throughout the apartment, 'Smart' flat screen TV, a dock for charging and playing music on your iPhone, iPad etc. A WiFi printer/scanner from which you can print your check-in details or other important docs from your iPhone, iPad, android or laptop.
The kitchen has seating for 4-5 comfortably, fitted gas hob,oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer,ironing board etc, ( separate utility area)
Bedroom one is spacious, has a king size bed which can be made into two singles 90 x 200cm
Bedroom 2 has a Queen-size bed 160 X 200cm with an en-suite bathroom (shower, bidet,etc), fitted wardrobe,dressing area. There are glass doors (full length opening doors) overlooking the 'manzana'.
Bedroom 3 has 2 singles (90 X190cm) It also has an ante room with view to the Manzana with full length opening doors.
The 2nd bathroom opposite bedroom 1 has a shower 110X80cm Toilet, Bidet etc.
The living area is spacious, with a dining area, living space with two 3 seater sofas, coffee table etc, plus an area with a desk and fully opening doors to the 'manzana'
The apartment is heated or air-conditioned from a simple control in the living room.
100% cotton linen and towels are provided.
Easy access to the airport, with the airport buses from Plaza Catalunya just a few minute walk away. The metro at Urquinaona with line L1 & L4 ( L4, two stops to the beach at Barceloneta ) and Taxis are on the corner of our block.
Bea and Stephen come from an artistic background & you will see Bea's flair for style and comfort in the apartment with natural linen and cotton fabrics, with many of Steve’s ( a pro-photographer) photographs and original art. They have previous experience of discerning rental clients with their beautiful 12th century Priory (now sold) and are very excited by their new adventure in the heart of Barcelona. They have created this peaceful and comfortable apartment, a real home, for you to enjoy.

We fell in love with this apartment because it is in a most beautiful palatial modernist house in L'Eixample, a district with some superb classically designed buildings constructed in the late 19th Century, yet within walking distance of the old city & many sites in central Barcelona. The apartment is spacious light and quiet a great place to come home to after a busy day in Barcelona.
We had a fantastic time in Barcelona and loved the flat We also appreciate all the great suggestions in the book. Also Rachel was great. Very helpful! Your suggestions were great and we ate at Aqua twice and at a few of the other recommendations too! There is so much to do and see in Barcelona, I am sure we will come back again. We will certainly recommend your lovely flat as we really enjoyed it. The book full of suggestions was very useful.
The only suggestion I could think of that might help people, concerns Barcelona's layout of the underground. A more explicit indication in your book of the underground system might be useful.
The apartment was well appointed, and we loved the way it was decorated. Also so nice to open up the windows and look out onto the courtyard! It was great to be able to print out boarding passes from the printer (much appreciated) and the bottle of wine was a welcome gesture! In all, we could think of nothing that we would want changed. The area was great and so convenient.
Thank you so much for everything. We have some fond memories of our time in Barcelona and would love to return. We will certainly highly recommend your flat to others and appreciate all you did to make our stay so great.

We stayed at Sant Pere recently and had a wonderful experience. We were a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children ages 12, 10, 6)). The apartment is clean, bright, modern and quiet. The kitchen is stocked with basic amenities like spices, sugar, tea and coffee. We were able to walk everywhere and the metro is just down the street. It is a very convenient location with markets, cafes, restaurants all close by. Rachel was great getting us settled and answering any questions. Bea and Steve were also very responsive to any questions we had before our arrival. I would highly recommend the apartment to others. Thanks for a wonderful week in Barcelona!
we booked the apartment for 3 executives who were in Barcelona to attend MWC. location was perfect, half a block from the subway (urquinaona), several groceries/cafes/parks nearby. check in and check out went without a hitch thanks to Rachel, who was also very helpful in answering questions of where to eat, what to do etc. this was our 6th or 7th trip to Barcelona; Rachel was helpful in identifying things to do for the seasoned visitor. :)
The apartment was in excellent shape, very well appointed and clean.
Very close to the gothic quarter while not being in it, a major bonus. Felt safe and secure.

My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 adult children 21& 23) had the absolute pleasure of spending 5 nights at Steve and Bea's Sant Pere apartment.
We have rented apartments in Paris, London and Rome through VRBO/Home away and Sant Pere was by far the best. All of the comforts of home, and more (we don't have heated towel racks at home)are there. The apartment is spacious, well stocked, beautifully renovated and in an excellent location.
Our greeter, Rachel, was delightful and was nice enough to stock the fridge with necessities because we weren't sure if any supermarkets would be open on New Years Day.
Steve and Bea were so easy to work with. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this apartment!
The apartment was everything we expected from the photographs and information - and more. Comfortable, stylish, spacious, light, well-equipped, practical. As a base for our explorations of Barcelona, it was perfectly located. Close to many of the main sights, but tucked away - with our balcony overlooking the central open areas of the surrounding apartments. We would definitely go back, and recommend this apartment to friends and family. It helped make the "Birthday Treat"!
Mi mujer y yo disfrutamos de un fin de semana en el precioso apartamento de Bea & Steve, situado en un punto céntrico de la ciudad, y aún así sorprendentemente tranquilo. Es de agradecer la multitud de detalles que nos hicieron sentir en casa, como todo el equipamiento de cocina, baño y las perfectas habitaciones. Apreciamos el buen gusto de la decoración y las piezas de arte escogidas, que nos permitieron conocer en particular el buen trabajo fotográfico de Steve.
Tan sólo cruzar el portal desde la calle, uno puede admirar la arquitectura del edificio, y la misma buena impresión causa el regreso al apartamento después de una jornada intensa visitando el Barrio Gótico, el mercat de Santa Caterina y el Born, así como la zona comercial del centro, a un tiro de piedra del apartamento.
La perfecta conexión en metro, en la esquina de la manzana, nos facilitó visitar el MNAC en Montjuïch, y también alcanzar la estación de tren de Sants rápidamente. Queremos agradecer especialmente la disponibilidad de Rachel y Brad para facilitarnos el check-in y check-out a la hora más conveniente para nosotros.
Finalmente comentar que seguimos las buenas recomendaciones gastronómicas proporcionadas por los propietarios con antelación a nuestro viaje, y así disfrutamos de una divertida comida en les Cuines de Santa Caterina, y también por nuestra parte quisiéramos recomendar el cercano restaurante Casa Alfonso, donde preparan unas estupendas tapas.
Muchísimas gracias por su hospitalidad, y por hacer nuestra estancia tan agradable.

The position is very convenient, close to the centre and the metro, surrounded by a choice of restaurants, coffee shops and not far from the main shopping streets.
Also there is a lovely big park near by- Parc de la Ciutadella and near the Gothic quarter.
The area is quiet though central, and we had a wonderful time .
