The Rivers Edge is a two bedroom, two bath home perched above the Hoback River in the Bridger Teton National Forest, near the convergence of the Hoback & Snake Rivers in Jackson Hole Wyoming. The home is located 15 minutes from downtown Jackson and steps from the Hoback River. The home offers stunning views of the River and surrounding mountains as well as a new Jacuzzi with advanced Hydrotherapy features, a wrap around deck, unique floor plan and a spacious living area with a Samsung HDTV.

Upon entering this unit you’ll immediately recognize the unique floor plan designed by the original architect owner, with convenient access to the bedrooms, bathrooms & living area with a circular flow through the house. To maximize enjoyment of the views, you’ll appreciate that two side of the living & dining areas is made up of windows. The deck offers additional opportunities to take in the views and relax outdoors, with easy access to a short foot trail leading to the rivers edge.

The architecture & design of this home showcases an intelligent use of space and many unexpected angles that give this rustic home a modern and unique feel. Hardwood floors, rustic wood paneling and natural stone are used throughout. One of the most unique features you’ll see is commonly referred to as the “cove shower”. This shower is accessed through a small open entry way built into the bathroom wall.

The living area offers unbeatable views of the Hoback River, vaulted ceilings, comfortable seating with a Quadra-Fire Wood Stove known for easy start up & generous heat output. The attached dining area features a rustic handmade dining table adjacent to more windows with views of the River. The deck is accessed from the dining area and features comfortable seating and built in benches. The fully equipped kitchen includes all plates, dishes cups & high end cutlery. When it’s time to cook you’ll enjoy the new Jenn-Air range with sleek glass top burners surrounded by counter tops on three sides.

The extraordinary location of this home is perfect for those who want to get away from it all and yet stay close enough to take advantage of a short drive back to the fine dining restaurants and shops Jackson Hole has to offer. Being located just above the Hoback River with a short trail leading from your deck down to the water is incredibly hard to find in Jackson Hole. Walk Through:

The parking area is positioned above the home. You’ll follow stairs down a gentle sloop to the front entry. Immediately past the front door you’ll arrive in the entry room complete with a large closet and bench to sit down and pull off those fishing boots. On your left you’ll see the second bedroom while slightly ahead on your right you’ll find the newly built second bathroom. Following the hallway ahead leads you to the kitchen & dining area with access to the deck. From the dining room you’ll proceed to the left into the living area, turning left again leads you through a short hallway to the Master Bedroom & Bath. This house offers a unique ability to split the sleeping and living areas with hallway doors that close near the kitchen and in the master bedroom on the opposite side of the house. This provides great separation and contains sound from the living and dining areas which is perfect for families.

Great retreat near Jackson!

Wow! What a great spot to stay near the Tetons! I hiked all day and came back to this beautiful place to relax in the hot tub overlooking the Snake River. Many nicely appointed features in this home gives you a taste of luxury in the wilderness. Be sure to check out the restaurant called, “The Bird” for some great burgers. I would stay here again without a doubt.
