Extremely well located in the private exclusive urbanisation of Pla del Mar in the quiet cul de sac of Oceano Artico (click on our google earth link below).The villa is so close to all that Moraira has to offer that it seems hard to appreciate the quietness and tranquility of the location. Turn left out of the villa and just a 5 minute walk away is the village of Moraira with it's beaches, harbour and marina, turn right out of the villa and a 10 minute walk will take you to the glorious bay of El Portet with it's own cafes and restaurant. The first class local beaches are all EEC Blue flag approved. El Romeral is of traditional Spanish origins it has been tastefully refurbished throughout but still retains it's character and ambiance. Enjoy the large secure gardens with various terraces & patios enjoying both full sun & shade, far reaching views to Calpe Rock & the mountains to the hinterland. The villa is the ideal place for relaxation & fun with family& friends.

It is difficult to fully appreciate all that El Romeral has to offer from the photos alone, walking out from the lounge the pool is only a few steps away & on the same level which is ideal for everyone including families with young children & for people with mobility difficulties.

Romeral offers so many outdoor spaces offering full sun & shade, lots of different seating/relaxing areas such as the courtyard garden with bbq, seating & eating areas. The wicker sofa suite overlooking the pool, just imagine enjoying that gin & tonic there!! Large mosaic table offering the facility for those fine dining moments!! ....and leading up from the garden is a spiral staircase to the solarium and first floor balcony offering far reaching sea views to Calpe Rock and beyond.

All in all a great outdoor space offering lots of different seating & eating areas, bbq, carefully tended gardens by Alberto our Spanish gardener with fruit trees and a selection of Spanish plants and succulants

About Alison Perks

We live in Lympstone East Devon which in some respects draws a comparison with Moraira in that it is a small friendly fishing village easily accessible to lovely beaches, unspoilt but within easy reach of a busier town and holiday facilities. We are both retired now but have spent the past few years taking on house refurbishment projects in the UK. We bought El Romeral in 2002 and over this period we have undertaken a massive refurbishment of our lovely villa and have been letting it since then taking the opportunity to have a working holiday when possible.

Why Alison Perks chose Moraira

My sister in law lives in Moraira and we decided to spend a holiday there with her. We had very little holiday experience in mainland Spain having only visited the Costa del So once before and were really not impressed. However our family dynamics were changing and our girls were growing up so we decided to look for an apartment to buy. Then we viewed El Romeral and our plans changed - we fell in love with the villa and the outdoor space as soon as we saw it and didn't hesitate in making an impulsive decision to buy it, normally we would have weighed everything up and thought about it .....that wasn't an option with Romeral because we would have lost it.

What makes this villa unique

El Romeral is situated in a unique position within easy walking distance of Moraira & El Portet, a car isn't necessary and we can vouch for that. You can experience a totally restful holiday and enjoy the villa and the surrounding area or venture further afield and explore all that the Costa Blanca has to offer.

The best villa we have ever rented in Moraira

We have been holidaying in Moraira for the last 10 years and have hired numerous villas. El Romeral was by far the best villa we have ever stayed in. The grounds were fantastic with a choice of 3 eating areas and most of our evenings were spent on the comfy sofa and chairs overlooking the pool with a glass of wine! The swimming pool was well used and safe for the children with its proximity to the seating areas. We were 3 generations of a family and the upstairs bedroom suite proved a haven for the grandparents! Kitchen was well equipped and the kids particularly loved the American fridge/freezer with its icemaker and filtered water. The lounge was spacious and comfy as were all the bedrooms. The agents, Ray and Barry were great especially when a member of our family was taken ill and they arranged for medical assistance for which we were most grateful. Alison was very helpful from the start of the booking process right through to being in contact on our return home. We would not hesitate in recommending El Romeral and hope to return again in the near future.

Wonderful Holiday. (Best Ever from Australia)

Well what can I say, we are all back home and I wish that we were all still back in Moraira at the lovely Villa El Romeral. My family (five adults one teenager and three young children 7,4 & 2 all had a wonderful time. The Villa was particularly spacious and comfortable and I felt very at home. As we had young children with us, we had most of our meals at the Villa. The kitchen proved to be perfect and the dining facility just the job. The provision of the Sky TV was great for the youngsters to watch before breakfast. Waiting for us oldies to get up. I myself find it difficult to walk without crutches but I found all locations within the lovely grounds to be accessible. The icing on the cake was the wonderful private pool. Even I managed to get in which I would never have achieved in a hotel public pool. My Younger daughter came with her young son from Sydney Australia and had a perfect holiday and wants to return as soon as possible. The grounds were really lovely with all the wonderful exotic plants a real treat to sit on the lower patio with pleasant drink in the early evening after the children had gone to bed. We enjoyed visiting the pretty town of Moraira where we spent happy hours visiting two lovely restaurants over looking the harbour. My wife enjoyed the many shops in the town while I visited the special ice-cream bar with my grandchildren (Snickers ice-cream )We will all look forward to visiting Moraira and the lovely Villa El Romeral in the near future.

Excellent relaxing holiday at El Romeral

Our 7 member family group spent an excellent relaxing week at El Romeral, Moraira. We all had plenty of space to ourselves and made full use of the pool and outdoor eating areas. Clean, well maintained, we would certainly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a similar vacation. Moraira itself is big enough to have plenty of places to wine and dine but retains the small town feel which we thoroughly enjoyed. No batallions of high rise towers in this neighbourhood. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect in every respect.

We( 4 adults, 1 teenager and 2 children,1.5 & 3.5 years old) have just spent 2 weeks at Romeral. Apart from to and from the airport we did not use the hire car. This is the perfect family holiday the villa is delightful, spacious, very well equipted with a beautiful pool and plenty of places to relax, both in and out of the sun. Up market safe resiential location ideal for the beaches and the town both being just a few minutes walk away. Plenty to do for all ages, our grandson did not get back to the villa some nights till 7 am next morning.He was out with other family members of a similar age staying at another villa just up the road. The 2 little ones had a great time the only way we could get them off the beach was to bribe them with ice creams. The weather was traffic ranging from 24 to 30 degrees every day. We hope to go back next year for another 2 weeks, if Ailson the owner will let us. This is our third holiday in a row in different villas in Moraira and it will not be our last.

Stunning villa in a perfect location.

We have just returned from a 3 generation family holiday at El Romeral, and had a wonderful week. The villa is exceptional and everything had been thought of and provided to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. We loved the peace and privacy of the grounds and the swimming pool (heated) was in constant use. The upper bedroom and balcony was a haven of tranquillity for us grandparents, with amazing sea views. Moraira itself is truly a short stroll away, and has something for all ages - countless good quality cafes bars and restaurants to suit every budget, lovely beach and marina and great shops to browse. The colourful Friday market was a highlight for us. The owners could not have been more helpful, and I have no hesitation in recommending their beautiful villa, which would provide a great holiday for anyone. Can't wait to go again!

Wonderful

When you walk around the villa you notice all the attention to detail and how clean it all is. The outside space is large and plenty of Sun beds. The pool was heated for our stay and it was like getting into a warm bath.
The villa has everything you could need from fully fitted kitchen even down to an egg timer.
One thing I must say and is very rare THE BED WAS COMFORTABLE. The whole villa was comfortable and well the views are the icing on the cake. We had a wonderful stay w e had no complaints at all but on our welcome letter we were informed that a local couple were on hand if we had any problems they would be available to help.
The village itself has plenty of great shops bars and some great restaurants to suit all budgets.
We had a wonderful week my only complaint is that it wasn't a longer stay

Within the villa itself El Romeral offers all you can wish from a holiday. A large 10m x 4m private pool which can be heated on request, a large south facing secluded garden with far reaching sea views and which offers a great space in both full sun & shade, terraces & patios where you can find a quiet chill out area on your own or great get together family areas.

We really want you to feel this is a home from home & with is in mind you will find a lot of comfortable outdoor seating areas, imagine enjoying a gin & tonic overlooking the pool!

Outdoor games are provided which will hopefully keep you all amused, this includes table tennis, darts, outdoor chess, Connect Four, noughts & crosses, Jenga, dominoes, pick up sticks, badminton and bat and ball.

Tennis is available to visitors of El Romeral which can be booked for a nominal charge on the Pla del Mar estate about a 5 min walk away. These courts are for the exclusive use of residents and their guests.

Moraira has been described as the jewel in the crown and is one of the most unspoilt resorts in the Costa Blanca. The tranquil town of Moraira remains the most unspoilt coastal town of the Marina Alta area. Moraira was, up until the 1970's just a tiny cluster of fishermen’s cottages, since then it has emerged as an exclusive holiday resort. This wonderful and peaceful small seaside town nestles in a sheltered spot on Spain's eastern coast known as the Costa Blanca, named after it's multitude of beaches with fine, clean and warm sand.

A 5min walk from the villa takes you into the town, marina, harbour - (Fish Auction: Monday to Friday at 10.00 in the Lonja building in the marina), numerous restaurants, designer shops, cafes & street & weekly markets.

There is so much to do within a short distance of the villa, scuba diving, sailing, kyaking, diving, quad biking, horse riding, jet skis you name it !!

Going further afield but still within easy access by car are various resorts including:

Benidorm offering theme and water parks such as Terra Mitica, Aqualandia, Mundomar, Terra Natura & Aqua Natura, all offering an amazing variety of entertainment.

Valencia Calpe & Denia are all within an easy drive from the villa.
