Jeff Hinrichs purchased this studio in 2012
My husband and I travelled to Indianapolis for a business convention, our first time in the City. We were pleasantly surprised when the owner actually met us! Very welcoming, lots of information, available if anything needed. The condo was so well built and equipped there was no need for anything. In the heart of an art deco area, with lots of artsy restaurants, a varied selection to pick from and explore. So much to do, we did not realize what a nice place Indianapolis was. The comfort of the condo had plenty to do with it of course. Being comfortable and well rested provides a very clear mind to enjoy the rest. As contractors we see a LOT of bad flips, renovations and cover up cosmetic work. You will not find that here. Well worth it, well priced. We would not be surprised if it was always booked ahead of time. Highly recommend a visit to this property.
First of all, my husband and I had no idea how wonderful a city Indianapolis is and how many things there are to do. Our son attended a 1 week camp at Ball State. Faced with 40 hours of driving from the Washington DC area for drop off and pick up vs spending the week in Indianapolis, we opted for the vacation and are so glad we did. Jeff and Billie Jo are perfect hosts. Jeff greeted us in the alley and had wine chilling in the fridge! The studio is the perfect size for a couple. Full kitchen, bathroom with shower, wireless, TV and DVD (plus some classic DVDs), tastefully and artistically decorated with their TLC, air conditioned, deck overlooking the funkiest part of Indy and a beautiful garden, ample parking, all in a bright yellow package...what more could you ask! It is obvious that Jeff and Billie Jo love their community and being hosts. Need a corkscrew or a knife for cutting watermelon? Recommendation for dinner? Funny stories? Ride on a rainy night back home? Just text and they were right there. Every restaurant and bar they recommended, both in the neighborhood and in downtown Indy, was superb. There are no chain restaurants or bars in Fountain Square and very few in Indy. Plenty of live music is in the neighborhood and in Indy. We literally ate and drank our way through some of the best cocktail lounges, bars, and restaurants ever. Downtown is an easy 20" walk on the cultural trail (with fantastic restaurants and bars along the way to keep you refreshed) or you can use the bikeshare bikes located literally across the street or drive. The condo is close to everything Indy offers: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis Speedway, convention center, and downtown. This was our first experience with VRBO and we are so glad we did. We've made new friends and look forward to our next visit!
