Very comfortable 1 br, 1 ba cabin. Large full kitchen w/ dishwasher. Dining table. 2 large porches, beautiful vistas in all directions. Walking distance to west park entrance (really, not a long walk either!).
Outdoor BBQ, small clay chiminey fire pit, tree covered bench. Queen memory foam matress. Comfortable living room area. Air matress fits nicely in living room to accomodate 2 more sleepers.
Central evaporative cooling.
Close to cute, quirky, artistic town of Joshua Tree. Lots of unique shops and great places to eat.
Come enjoy the beautiful scenery and amazing night skies. Great place to have a romantic get-a-way or to stay while exploring the wonders of the national park. RV hookup available if you want to bring friends or family.
This will be our go-to rental each year when in JT! The photos don't do it justice. The covered porch is huge and has sweeping views of the valley (Highlands neighborhood) with a big wooden bench swing to take it all in. Our 9-year-old loved the bench under the tree. Home is larger than we expected with a really big kitchen and dining area. Living room is cozy, bedroom is roomy and the bathroom sufficient. Place was clean and well appointed with a western/horse theme that wasn't over the top. The house is set back from the road by about 50-75 feet, but traffic is minimal that far up the road (just people going into and exiting the park) and it wasn't loud or distracting. The best feature for us was the proximity to the park... literally a two minute drive to the west entrance, which really cuts down on the driving each day when you consider how far into the park you need to drive to get to the sights.
This is an awesome place to stay and a wonderful home base for hiking and exploring Joshua Tree State park. My wife and I stayed 2 nights and are definitely coming back. This southwestern style cabin has everything you need to escape the city noise and chill while watching the stars by night and the beautiful views during the day.
Cute little place extremely close to the JT park gate, but still not to far from town for shopping and cool restaurants. Very easy to find. Beautiful views. Great for stargazing at nite, and visiting the park during the daytime. Kitchen is stocked with all the utensils and spices for cooking, and there is a large fridge for anything you want to bring in. There were five of us, and we were all very comfortable. Although in the desert, the cabin was very clean.
This cabin had everything that was needed and wanted, The grill and fire-pit were great additions to a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants some comfort in the middle of a beautiful landscape.
From the moment we entered this charming little cabin, we were entranced. It has beautiful vistas from every direction, and when you walk in the front door it's warmth and welcoming nature captures you immediately. It is artfully decorated in the style of the old West. The cabin is nestled just outside of the national park, and we took advantage of this, packing picnics and taking hikes with our grand kids during the beautiful spring days. The park has petroglyphs, pools and caves to be explored. When we returned to our cabin, there were plenty of movies to keep the tired children occupied, and our Aussie was thrilled to be able to explore the property unleashed! Have never seen him so happy!!! There are many trails to be hiked right here next to the cabin and we enjoyed taking our time, looking at all the beautiful spring flowers in bloom on the desert floor and on the cactus's. Later, we enjoyed bar-b-queing outdoors under the trees. It is set up very nicely for outdoor living here. After eating, we sat out under the stars, enjoying a nice fire in the chiminea. We enjoyed looking at the starry sky through the big telescope provided by the owners, an amazing view as desert skies are so clear. In the morning, when preparing breakfast, we were pleased to see how well-stocked the kitchen was, with spices, mixes and anything a cook could want and need to make a great meal. We really enjoyed getting up early, sitting out on the porch in the morning sun with our coffees and just enjoying the quiet and solitude. Of course, an occasional hummingbird flitting by, a mama quail and her family wandering by or a jack rabbit for our dog to chase off, did break the quiet, but, wow, what a wonderful place!!! We will be back!!!
