Another wonderful stay in paradise

We returned for our second stay at this wonderful, peaceful and relaxing farmhouse - and once again, enjoyed every minute of it. While my husband was working at Montpellier University I thoroughly savoured the quiet setting of this place - reading, going for walks, yoga and swimming in the lovely pool. To us, this place has become our "second home away from home" (which for us is Canada); the house has everything one needs to make the stay as enjoyable as possible: enough room and utensils to cook wonderful meals - in nearby Jacoo is a great supermarche where one can get the most delicious fresh fish, which we prepared over the outdoor barbecue. Then there is the outdoor ping-pong table - where we fought many battles!
The weather was absolutely wonderful this spring; in fact it got so hot that we asked Paul to put up the covering above the outdoor dining table in order to eat all our meals outside. Paul is a very pleasant and friendly young man who looks after the pool and gardens and everyhing else that needs fixing around the house. He was always eager to practice his English with me while I tried to make myself understood in French. We had some good laughts! Then there is Natalie, who comes out to meet people on their arrival and departure date. We had some issue with the internet, and she was very quick in getting the problem solved. And of course Vincent, the owner, who is so very accommodating and helpful when it comes to organizing the stay.
This year we had quite a few visitors from around Europe and every single one of them were just mesmerized by this wonderful place.
It's not just the wonderful house, with its tranquil and mythical setting, but also Vincent, Paul & Natalie who make this place feel like "home" to us. We'll be back next year for sure! We have already reserved our weeks!! (-:
