Overview

Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday cabin in Williams - Lodge at Ski Run

4000 sqft 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, in the middle of the Forest with Mountain Views

Our custom log cabin is nestled in the tall ponderosa pines of Williams, Arizona. We are secluded on 3 acres at the base of Bill Williams Mountain and surrounded by the Kaibab National Forest. With breathtaking views in every direction and wildlife spotted daily.

Our 4000sqft cabin offers 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, with 3 seating areas, wrap around deck, and 2000sqft of paved patio for enjoying the starry nights. The cabin comfortably sleeps 14 between the 3 levels with a king in the master, queens in the guest rooms, and queen sofa sleepers with upgraded mattresses in the loft, great room, and TV room.

The layout of the cabin is divided amongst 3 levels with the Master and Guest room on the main level separated by the Great Room & Kitchen. The loft is directly above the Guest room and provides an elevated view of the Kitchen and Great Room. Finally, the Lower Level has a 3rd Bedroom and is off of the Game Room. There is a bathroom on the Lower Level which serves the bedroom, game room and TV room.

Amenities include a loft with elevated views, large great room, TV Room, bar with fridge and microwave, and game room with a pool table, poker table, and lots of family friendly games. For outside enjoyment there is a BBQ, and fire pit for relaxing under the stars. For the kids, there is a fenced in play area with an elevated wooden playhouse and plenty of room for their imagination.

Just 3 minutes from downtown Williams known as the 'Gateway to the Grand Canyon' and historic Route 66. There is plenty of shopping, restaurants, hiking trails, fishing, kayaking, hunting, golfing (www.elephant-rocks.com), Bearizona, and the Deer Farm. Williams has a great nightlife too with a winery, brewery, wine tasting, saloons, restaurants, live music, & much more (www.experiencewilliams.com).

This cabin serves as a great home base for day trips to the Grand Canyon, Sycamore Canyon, Sedona, the ghost town of Jerome, cliff dwellings of Montezuma's Castle, and Flagstaff. The Grand Canyon and Sedona are just an hour’s drive in opposite directions. However, there are several guided tours that can help you make the most of your vacation and ensure you are able to experience all the unique and historical sites, sounds, and tastes that are Arizona.

Williams is also popular as a 4 season's attraction with the Grand Canyon Railway, Polar Express, Christmas Celebrations, Elk Ridge Ski Area, Snowbowl, & seasonal hunting of elk, deer and more.

In the cabin, you will find an open concept kitchen that leads to the great room and dining area which is fully equipped to enjoy home cooked meals or take home from one of the many fabulous locally owned and operated restaurants on Route 66. Linens and towels are provided to accommodate the number of guests identified in the reservation. Please make sure you update the guest count to ensure enough linens are made available.

About Judy Warner - Property Manager

We have lived and worked in and around Phoenix, Arizona most of our lives. We met in 2003 and have been together ever since. We love to travel in and out of the country while experiencing as much of the local flavor as possible. We enjoy spending time with our families and friends and especially look forward to retiring soon.

**As of January 2015, our property will be managed by a local Property Manager to better meet the needs of our clients.**

Judy Warner - Property Manager purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Judy Warner - Property Manager chose Williams

We have lived in the blazing heat of Phoenix, Arizona most of our lives dreaming to one day own a cabin in Northern Arizona. Our first place was in Flagstaff until we visited the eclectic town of Williams. We were immediately drawn to the rustic charm of Route 66 meets Old West, meets local Artists, meets Gourmet food and wine. Truly a unique and one-of-a-kind town, filled with the kindest and friendliest locals you could ever hope to meet.

It took a few years, but we finally found our dream cabin just outside of the neighborhoods, past the local fishing hole as you approach Bill Williams Mountain. Once we retire we will stay here during the summer and winter back in Phoenix. Until then, it is our desire to share our dream with as many friends and family as possible. We are truly blessed and are grateful everyday for this opportunity.

What makes this cabin unique

Our cabin has a unique chalet front and back, as well as bay windows that provide unobstructed views of the mountain, trees, and wildlife from 3 sides of the cabin. The 1400sqft wrap around deck on the main level is accessed from the kitchen and the master bedroom affording elevated and private viewing. The lower level has over 2000sqft of paved patio surrounded by a rock wall that provides privacy yet opens up to the front of the property sitting back nearly an acre from the road. The outdoor living space truly rivals the interior by creating an open flow for easy entertaining, dining, and relaxing.

Spectacular Cabin

  • 5 of 5

My Nephew invited me on his vacation with his wife and two kids along with my Mom and my Twin. This cabin exceeded our expectations! The cabin was gorgeous and had all the amenities you will need and then some. The view was amazing as well as the surrounding woods. None of us wanted to leave. We all are planning to come back hopefully each and every year!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with me and my family. We will remember that week for years to come!!

Can't be beat

  • 5 of 5

Our vacation was made perfect with this rental. The cabin was magnificent. Our 4 granddaughters claimed the loft as their own and enjoyed every minute of it. The cabin was way beyond what I had hoped for and definitely will rent it again . It is very convenient to everything yet secluded.. I don’t think this place can be beat for the price !!!!

Most amazing cabin and vacation that we could have ever dreamed of!! :)

  • 5 of 5

We had been planning this family vacation for months and I had envisioned us having a wonderful time but the reality of what we experienced far exceeded anything I could have ever imagined! The cabin was absolutely amazing and our time visiting Williams, Bearizona, the Grand Canyon and Sedona exceeded anything that we could have dreamed! Or only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We are already thinking of when we can come back and if possible we would love to rent this cabin again!

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful spot.

  • 5 of 5

Visiting from New Zealand, this part of the trip was intended to be a highlight as we met up with other friends for a New Year catch up. When we arrived it was much more than we'd expected from the pictures we'd seen - the cabin standing in the freshly fallen 12 inches of snow, lit up from the road, looked like a set in a movie. And entering the house which, was already toasty and warm and inviting, we were all like excited kids.

There were eight of us in all; four adults, two teens and two little kids - 4 and 3. We all found the accommodation super comfortable and super fun. The games room was a big hit with us all and us adults found ourselves up way later than we'd planned on a couple of nights having fun on the pool table, card table and Wii, a great way to enjoy some time together after being out exploring for the day.

A drive up to Grand Canyon was pretty cruisey, at just an hour down the road and makes this place a perfect spot for exploring the area. Its easy to get to and just a few minutes from the pretty town too which has the original Route 66 running right through the middle so you've just got to have breakfast at one of the diners and pick up a few souvenirs.

A big part of making this section of our trip work for us though was the owners. We had been heading over for New Years Eve from Vegas and encountered a snow storm which closed the highway and forced us to stay elsewhere and without much in the way of communication either. When we were able to finally make contact and explain the situation, Rose moved our whole stay by a day (by this time we should have already checked in), no effort or cost and, in fact, just a genuine concern for us and glad we were all ok after being stuck out on the highway.

A recommendation of the highest order comes from all eight of us. I only wish I could stay on and see the summer here too.

50th Wedding Anniversary, 5-night, FAMILY REUNION EXTRAORDINAIRE!!

  • 5 of 5

The moment we opened the door, we felt like we were home! We came from Central Oregon, Los Angeles, and Boston University .... and it was unanimous....WE ALL LOVED YOUR HOME....and it was worth every mile!!! We build custom homes and appreciated the wonderful, extra details of your special place. Highlights were the bread machine going every day :-)...very comfy furniture, huge decks, views, light snow on the ground, beautiful trees, electric bedding of all types (how comfy can one get?), playing table games, hiking around the property, GAME ROOM with all the incredible extras, lots of beds, spreading out with privacy, the wii games, and your kindness in providing so many helpful extras in the home! The crowning highlight was going to the GRAND CANYON every day but one!! It's no wonder it is one of the world's 7 natural wonders!!! We are still in awe as it is all beyond belief; God's handiwork!! Our 20-year old grandson from BU took the Kaibab Trail starting at 7200 ft elevation and reached the Colorado River at 2200 ft elevation in 2 1/2 hours, took some photos of spectacular views and deer, and arrived back where he started 3 1/2 hours later!! We all took away memories that will last our lifetime!!

Wish we stayed longer!!!

  • 5 of 5

The Polar Express Trian brought my family to Williams. We figured we would come a few days early to see the Grand Cayon. Our group had three children (ages 5-8) and seven adults. We should have stayed the whole week! This cabin was perfect for our family. There was lots of room to spread out. I loved that there were board games for us to play! My children played outside and had a blast! We have many friends who want to go on the Polar Express over the next few years and we will insist they stay here! We will also be back when the kids are a little older and do some hiking. Thank you for the information about things to do around Williams! We went to Bearizona and the Grand Canyon Caverns.
