The high ceilings and large open floor plan of this one-bedroom guesthouse create a bright, spacious interior appointed with contemporary yet comfortable furnishings.
The kitchen, with its granite countertops and ample cabinet space, is fully equipped for cooking at home if you choose to do so.
The living room is huge and with the 50 in. Smart TV, streaming your favorite apps will keep you entertained during your time spent indoors, if any!
The bedroom has a queen size bed and a built-in mirrored wardrobe with drawers, shelving, and hang rod, and there should be more than enough room to accommodate even the most fashionably prepared guests. There is also a 55" Smart TV in the bedroom.
Enter the bathroom and find yourself surrounded by mirrors, marble, and granite in a late 20th-century idea of what a Roman spa might have been. With gold-plated plumbing fixtures and a spa tub, this bathroom for some would be considered fabulous, and for others, over-the-top eccentricity! Either way you'll enjoy it's unique ambiance while using the facilities.
Outside, at the entrance to the unit is a brick patio with a table and chairs. A tropical garden and walkway lead you toward the orchid and birdhouse at the back of the property where you can relax under the mango, palm, and banyan trees. Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail (or vice versa) with the local wildlife and the property mascots.
The riverfront deck and boat dock offer views up and down this urban river and kayak or canoe use can be arranged under certain circumstances.
The property owners reside in the detached main house and will be available most of the time to be sure you have what you need to make your stay comfortable and hassle-free.
Fort Lauderdale's famous beaches and Intracoastal Waterway are less than 5 miles away, and with options like jet skiing, parasailing, or boating you'll come back home suntanned (if you're careful) and ready for a nap before your evening begins.
Nightlife on 'The Drive' is just a short 2 minute drive away or a 15 minute walk if you choose. Wilton Drive is a lively, eclectic collection of bars, restaurants, sushi bars, and retail shops catering in large part to the LGBT+ community. There's fun here for everyone however, demonstrating the inclusionary nature this small city has been built on.
There is no doubt you will be pleasantly surprised by the peaceful ambiance of this guesthouse located in the heart of one of South Florida's most popular resort cities.
