The 6 bedroom condo has undergoing a MASSIVE renovation. I took over this property in May of 2014, and I have spend over 6 months on the renovation of the place.
We finished the renovation of the place on December 20th, 2014, and I hope you all think the place looks as amazing as I do.
When it comes to location, it doesn’t get much better than this. Palmera Penthouse is is a 6-bedroom penthouse located directly on the magnificent Bávaro Beach in Los Corales with private beach area and fantastic Ocean Views.
The penthouse is a the perfect spot for a getaway for a small group friends or a larger family.
You won’t believe that you’ve come home when you drive into the quaint area of Los Corales, down the narrow streets and finally reach the big gate that leads to the Floor del Mar condominium.
The penthouse has 2 levels. On the entrance level you will find a big living room, connected to the dining area and open kitchen. You will also find 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
A stairway leeds to the upper level, where you will find the last 2 bedrooms sharing a bathroom. On the other side of the stairway you will find the large rooftop terrace, which has been constructed as a green garden. Artificial grass, Plants, trees and flowers surrounds you on 2 sides, and makes you focus on the breathtaking ocean view from the terrace.
Custom build lounge furniture, outdoor dining area for 12, BBQ and breathtaking ocean views are just some of the elements of the Roof Top Terrace.
This LUXURY unit is fully air-conditioned and each bedroom has its own LCD/LED TV with cable.
You have free wifi throughout the unit.
During the day you can, of course, enjoy the beach or the community swimming pool.
In the evening, you have the possibility of dining “alfresco” on the rooftop terrace and enjoy a BBQ dinner or you can explore one of the many local restaurants located within a few minutes walk from the unit (incl. Italian, Cuban, Brazilian, International, Thai, etc.).
The rental includes daily maid/cleaning service.
Additional services, which can be provided (subject to availability and extra charges), include:
Personal chef (approx. US$ 150 per day)

My name is Anders Bogebjerg, and I am the property manager of Palmera Penthouse.
I am a professional (PGA) golf player and former European Junior Champion from Denmark. Before moving to Punta Cana, I was playing golf professionally in Scandinavia and Europe at Challenge Tour level. From 2000 I began working in the traveling industry every winter season for Danish traveling agencies as a golf pro, representative and destination manager. In 2002 my travels took me to the Dominican Republic, where I settled down and took over Palmera Travel together with my wife, Rawnie Hansen. We have been living in Punta Cana full time since 2005, where we specialize in customizing vacation packages for travelers from around the world. In 2008 we started managing luxury vacation properties, which is where our focus currently lies.

We manage several properties in the area of Los Corales, and when we came to see the Palmera Penthouse, it was a very old and worn-down property which needed a complete makeover.
We love the location and the unique location and the views, so we took it over and started the complete renovation of the place. Initially it was a 4 bedroom, with a lot of waisted space on the room top terrace.
We decided to transform it into a 6 bedroom so we took half of the space of the rooftop terrace and build 2 bedrooms and a bathroom up there.
We have tried to keep the whole renovation of the property in a modern beach-like style, all in white/black with a few touches of color here and there.
Palmera Penthouse is located in Los Corales in the heart of Bavaro. You are within walking distance to 9 restaurants, several bars, bakeries, cafe's, mini markets etc.
Apart from that you have a private beach area with private beach lounge chairs belonging to the unit.

Your staff and associates (the drivers) were all Super professional and on time.
Griselle is Amazing, Your very lucky to have her there. She really made the trip all that much better. Her knowledge of all the bars, clubs, beaches, and people was superb. We honestly don't think the trip would have been that great without her there.
Flor was amazing, waking up to breakfast and her cleaning up after our "Fun" was crucial. She was so nice, happy, and she made really good Mangu!
Rori the chef kept us alive on saturday. Lunch and Dinner was amazing!
Once again thank you for everything, next time I go to D.R. I will definitely be staying in one of your places. I will recommend you guys to anyone who ask me about Dominican republic.
For our 16th annual guys golf trip, we decided to stay at Palmera Penthouse and play fantastic courses in Punta Cana. The accommodations were fantastic, the staff extremely professional and attentive, and everything met the expectations of a very discerning group of world travelers. We had dinner prepared by the chef on the roof top terrace which was fantastic. The private beach is steps away from the penthouse and easily accessible. The area is safe and secure and walking distance to bars, restaurants, etc. I give it my highest recommendation.
I took my girlfriends to Punta Cana last week and we stayed at Palmera Penthouse, and it was a great place.
The renovation of the place looked beautiful, and especially the roof top terrace was a place we loved to hang out.
From the moment we arrived we felt like home, and Fior (the maid) took good care of of, and the food prepared by the chef (can't remember his name) was out of this world.
The private beach area in front of the unit was where we spend most of our days, and just relaxed and enjoyed ourselves.
Anders has also organized some in-house massages for us, which was a great way to end the day.
I can only recommend Anders and his team in Punta Cana. They were hands on from the moment we booked to when we left.. We are coming back again for sure.
I stayed at Mansion del Sol for a couple of nights last month and must say that it was incredibly delightful. The two apartments of this villa are gorgeous and very comfortable; although not overly spacious. However, you'll find everything you need. The pool is great and you can't beat the beach which is RIGHT THERE! We had a large private beach area all to ourselves. I loved the fact that you can just walk around the neighborhood to the various local restaurants, bars, bakeries, etc.
I had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone coming to PUnta Cana for their vacation. Service provided by the villa manager, Anders, is also great and they've got all these fun excursions you can do.
I took 5 friends with me to Punta Cana and a guy's getaway. Anders recommended Mansion del Sol to us, and we accepted. We didn't know what to expect, but the pictures looked nice and location was good, so we accepted.
From the moment we arrived in the airport, we were received by Anders team, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. Everything was easy and well planned out.
You can see that the owner has a fantastic taste, and you feel like you are coming to a home, and not a rental property. Each room is different in decode and feel, which made this trip special. Mansion del Sol is truly unique!
This is a great property for families, a group of friends or a guy's trip like ours.
I will HIGHLY recommend Anders and his team of professionals, when ever you are going to the Dominican Republic.
