Thank you Nick and Chania for your first class hospitality and superb Gîte. We've all had a fantastic holiday and enjoyed meeting new friends. The children loved the barn (Sale de Jour) and the freedom that La Foye offers. Monday night BBQ's are an experience not to be missed! We hope to come back soon.

Charming, extremely well equipped gîte. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Great market in Aulnay, particularly the oysters!

Why Nick & Chania Coveyduck chose Saint-Jean-d'Angely area
Having spent 16 years developing and improving our last property in Devon we wanted a new challenge and better weather.
We spent three years looking as far afield as Australia & Canada but when we saw Le Manoir we just knew it was right for us. The climate is just perfect.
The property was formerly a Cognac distillery, which has now been converted into this delightful complex, including a heated swimming pool with sun terraces, summer kitchen and barbeque, large gardens, paddocks and an orchard of walnut trees set amongst the attractive countryside.
What makes this cottage unique
Having been in the business for so long there are not many situations that we have not come across before and prepared for meaning that you have a perfect holiday.
