That's what we have to offer with our 2 bedroom unit, which is on the middle floor of the 12-unit complex, right on the southern end of Reduit, St. Lucia's best beach and steps away from the water. Just a few feet away is tranquil blue water. A walk up the beach reveals four hotel properties and Spinnakers Restaurant. You may also enjoy a fresh fish meal, local rum punch or beer in a unique atmosphere at Marie's Fish Shack & Cool Beer Bar, at our end of the beach - a popular place for visitors.
The condo is also very well located within easy walking distance to a variety of good restaurants, supermarkets, banks, businesses, two malls, a casino and the nightlife of Rodney Bay Village.
There is certainly no need to rent a car if you do not need to.
Our unit No. 7, has 2 air-conditioned bedrooms, a comfortable veranda to relax on (little birds come to visit us whenever we sit there having breakfast) and a large pool on our level at the back. It has everything that you will need for a most relaxing tropical vacation in an area that offers a little seclusion yet easy walking access to all the action.
The master bedroom has a door to the bathroom while the second bedroom's French door opens to the living area.
There is a bar with fridge, dining table for six, 40 inch TV and a DVD player. The kitchen is simple and functional, has a propane gas stove/oven, microwave and comes with everything that you will need for a comfortable vacation. We also have a washer and dryer.
There are two beach lounge chairs and a large umbrella for your enjoyment on the beach as well as an outdoor BBQ grill.
There is free WiFi, 100 channels of cable television (not that you would want to watch much TV in such an environment) and a cell phone for your use (It is a pre-paid system so simply re-charge it at any of the many outlets in Rodney Bay Village easy walking distance away).
There is a regular driver that we use when we are in St. Lucia and we recommend that you consider him for transfers from and to Hewanorra International Airport at a cost to you, each way. He knows exactly where to take you to the condo.
Our manager, Lorna, who is also a long standing personal friend, will give you a wonderful briefing on behalf of my wife and myself. As a born St. Lucian herself, she will answer all your questions and give you excellent guidance.
So, if you do decide that you wish to stay in our simple yet superbly located apartment, enjoy it to the fullest as we do whenever we can stay there and take back with you memories of our enchanting island that will last forever.

My wife and I are both Saint Lucians who retired in 2004 and returned to Canada to rejoin our family there but we make frequent trips to the island. For the last several years we have leased the property for long term periods (the last long term tenant was there for three years). We have now decided to make it available for vacation rentals so that we or our family may also use it occasionally.

When the building of the property was completed it became a 'no brainer' for us to purchase it because of its unbeatable location on Reduit Beach. We have spent most enjoyable times there between rentals.
The main benefit of our property is its location on Reduit Beach as well as its easy walking distance to great restaurants, supermarkets, banks, shops and malls and even a casino.
One does not need to rent a car to have a great time.
I think perfect sums up this holiday.
The accommodation is exactly as described. 50 yards from the fabulous Reduit Beach and only a 5 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Gros Islet.
Lorna was hand to help with any queries and to make sure that everything was ok.
As a place to relax it doesn't get better and you have a golf course 15 minutes drive away.
Great communications with the owners which is always very nice and comforting when you're renting privately.
Absolutely top notch and something I am recommending to friends.
Such a short walk to the beach, on a lovely path - I took a chair and towel (supplied) and my coffee down to the water every morning, and had the beach to myself until almost 10 am. The beach itself is beautiful -- on the non-touristy end of the bay, with Marie's Beach Shack right there for when you get hungry or thirsty -- a great place for dinner, too (try her spiced rum) -- cheap, yummy, and the view can't be beat. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed (including a washer/dryer!), and the view from the terrace is lovely, too. You can walk to the main drag --lots of restaurants and a small mall at the end of it -- and to the bus that will take you north or south. We definitely didn't need a car to explore this part of the island (and we took a boat to explore the south). Lorna, the property manager -- who seems to know everyone -- was extremely generous with her time, and went out of her way to help us.
We wanted a casual vacation where we could walk to the beach and restaurants as well as have access to tourist attractions and we managed to have it all by staying here. The apartment was clean and spacious with all necessary items plus the added benefit of a concierge of sorts in the property manager Lorna. She was a wealth of information about the island and checked in daily to ensure that our trip was going well. We highly recommend this rental for anyone who wants to get away and relax!
We were a family of four with two young kids, 5 and 10. Great location. 30 seconds to the beach on a convenient path. Pool was also fun for the kids. Restaurants and food shops within walking distance. We had a car because we wanted to venture out to the zip line in Dennery and to scenic soufriere. I would recommend staying a couple of days in soufriere. Not as many amenities for self serve tourists there, but driving the same day from Rodney Bay and back can be very tiring. The roads are very windy and narrow. Roger was great. Super responsive before we arrived. His directions were very accurate. And all his recommendations were spot on. He suggested that we'd be happier in Rodney Bay then in Marigot Bay and after venturing out to Marigot, we couldn't agree more. The deposit was returned before we landed back home. The neighbors were also lovely.
Great location (able to walk to everything): minutes from beach, town, restaurants, shopping - it has it all!

Roger was great at providing what we needed to have a most enjoyable vacation (transportation/suggested tours). The condo grounds are beautiful and the island is one of the most beautiful we have been to. We would definitely rebook if life allows us to get back that way... we can see why Roger picked this island for his second home.
We spent one week here in January and highly recommend this condo unit for the following reasons:
- Great location. Less than five minute walk to quiet end of beautiful Reduit Beach, where you will also find world famous Marie's Fish Shack and Beach Bar. Ten minute walk from shopping center with large supermarket, several surrounding restaurants (including great coffee shop that serves breakfast) and tourist activity center for booking tours, etc.
- Very nice, well maintained and clean 2 bedroom apartment, with AC in bedrooms. Nice sitting area with pool at the back for late night swim. Price is surprisingly low considering premium location.
- Extremely attentive service from the interesting and friendly owner, from time of booking to the very prompt return of security deposit at the end of our stay. He followed up with us regularly to make sure all was in order and to answer any questions we might have.
We have many other Caribbean destinations to discover in the future, but if we ever come back to St. Lucia (I am sure we will - the island and its residents are just awesome!) we would start by seeing if this accommodation is available.
One of the biggest attractions is our World Heritage Pitons and the drive-in volcano in Soufriere.
Nearby is the award winning Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens where one may bathe in the warm spring water, in baths once used by French King Louis xiv's troops in the 18th Century.
Some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving is also located in this area, at the Anse Chastanet Hotel just minutes north of the town of Soufriere.
One of the most rewarding adventures could well be hiking our rain forest or even climbing the Gros Piton.
Yet closer to our condo in the north, Pigeon Point historic ruins and fort is a must see. Revel in its rich history dating back to the famous English Admiral Rodney and learn of his role and St. Lucia's in the great conflict for the New World.
