Glorious Glacier National Park
This accommodation is very convenient to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. The cabin is quaint and exudes the rustic western vibe. The kitchen is well appointed I would suggest getting your groceries in Kalispell prior to arriving in Coram. The cabin is heated but does not have AC. This was not a problem for our group who visited in mid September the property is shaded with trees. It might, however be an issue if you visit in July. Overall a great accommodation to rest after a long day of excursions in Glacier.

Lovely home close to Glacier’s west entrance
Three married couples from three cities stayed in this home in Cormac and used the time to enjoy one another’s company while exploring Glacier National Park. the home is clean, beautiful and artistically decorated. The kitchen is well stocked and we all felt quite welcome, enjoying the game room and all the homey touches provided by the owner.

Glacier trip
House is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy the Glacier countryside. The house had everything we needed to relax all the beautiful sites. Train whistle was an interesting addition to the experience. Some in the group thought it was fun, other did not like it at 3AM. I certainly recommend this property to anyone coming to Glacier National Park. The property is a very short distance down the road from the West Glacier entrance of the park.

Awesome Cabin Near West Glacier
Great cabin with everything we needed, and then some. Perfect as a base to explore GFlacier. This cabin worked out perfectly for our family. Plenty of room to spead out. The trains that others mention are not a big deal at all. No AC which was a non issue even though it was over 90 for a couple of days of our visit. Property manager was very helpful! I would happily recommend and would stay there again!

Being a native Montanan, I return every summer to the homestead my grandparents built in the early 1900's. I spent my early summer years learning the ways not only of the west but also of their European roots. I built the cabin 4 years ago because I wanted to be closer to the river. The original log cabin of my grandparents is where I spent the last 15 summers until I could build my own with all of todays conveniences. I can't think of any place I would rather be during the summer than in this cabin, including the Central Coast of California where I live the rest of the year.

Why they chose this property

The cabin is on the same property as the original log cabin that my mom and her 6 siblings grew up in. It's just a short walk from one to the other but they still remain a world apart.

What makes this property unique

This cabin is a long way from my permanent home, taking 3 days of driving time. There just isn't any place like Montana or the strong spirit of the offspring of the settlers that came before them. There isn't much bravado shown or horn blowing when it comes to the pride the people show in where they live. It shows in the way they treat the land, their families and visitors. You're never a stranger when you visit Montana. They are very proud of where they live, proud of how they live and are eager for visitors to feel the same way when they leave. The weather is ever changing in the spring, summer and fall. We have glorious thunderstorms that shake the ground, hot dry days made for hiking, cool nights when the mountain inhabitants become silent, waiting for yet another great day in Montana.
