Lori & Kevin Hammond
Kevin and I love the city and all that it has to offer. Our favorite thing to do is dine out at the fabulous restaurants that Portland has to off. We also love the outdoors as well. He is an avid fly fisherman and knows all of the prime spots to fish for Striped Bass and Salmon. I love to garden and have a community garden plot just down the street from our home where I grow herbs and flowers for surrounding restaurants.
Kevin and I bought this building in 1989 and we have enjoyed every single minute of living on Munjoy Hill. The scent of the ocean is magical and you can definitely smell the saltiness at certain times of the year. The sound of the bell buoys and the ferries are also one of the things we miss when we are away for too long
The home is close enough that if you can hike mountains in the morning, come home and take a ferry ride to the Casco Bay Islands or perhaps spend an afternoon at one of the many lakes that Maine has to offer. All can be done in one day!
