This 2 bedroom- 2 sleeping lofts apartment seats atop of our Seattle, Ballard Home. The unit is private and independent, modern and warm with a simple but nice decor. Each of the 4 rooms has a new queen bed mattress in it. A total of 8 people are able to sleep comfortably (in pairs).
The high ceilings that allow the lofts also make it feel airy and spacious. The many windows let in lots of natural lighting. On clear days we get a beautiful view of Mount Rainier and the Space Needle right in front of it, albeit from the unit’s entrance and the south facing loft only.

We are located only ½ miles from the Ballard downtown core. Yet, far enough removed that you can enjoy a peaceful night sleep in our quiet and friendly neighborhood.
Ballard has being called by some a foodie’s paradise for its many and diverse restaurants, bars, cafes and bakeries. It attracts young and less-young people with active lifestyles because of the many outdoor activities available here. There is the 27-mile multi-use recreational Burke-Gilman trail, Golden Gardens Beach and park, an indoor rock climbing gym, kayaking, fishing, boating and bicycling and other outdoor activities.
The bus stop is at the corner of our block. There, you can take routes #18 and #40; both will take you to downtown Seattle. Route #40 (I am more familiar with) takes you to downtown in 30 minutes at a cost of $2.25. In its northbound route it will take you to the Northgate Mall. Route #44 on Market Street will take you to UW.
Google Maps works particularly well with the public transportation option in the Seattle area. You can also download to your phone the One Bus Away App that was designed by a local UW graduate student.
Groups larger than 6 are quoted incorrectly by this website. We manually adjust the cost as follows:
-Groups of 7 guests pay an additional $75/night (3 extra guests @ $25/person/night).
-Groups of 8 guests pay an additional $80/night (4 extra guests @ $20/person/night)
-Days still available within 10 days of check-in are discounted 9.5% (We pay the tax for you!)
- non smoking only
- wheelchair inaccessible
- pets not allowed
- children welcome
Originally from Cuba I have been a resident of Seattle for 20 years. I love to travel abroad and have visited many countries in Europe, North and South America. I love meeting new people and learning from other cultures. In the picture: El Poso de Jacinto. Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
If you are familiar with Seattle you know how beautiful, cosmopolitan and welcoming this city is. When previously living in the North end of the city I found myself coming to Ballard again and again following tips from friends for restaurants, bakeries, pubs and outdoors activities. We chose to live in Ballard because it is a safe, clean neighborhood surrounded by good schools with lots of outdoor activities, like walking, running, bicycling, rock climbing etc.
Conveniently located in the Ballard area. Walking distance to: NW Market St, Ballard public library, Golden Gardens, Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, restaurants, french bakery, pubs and bus stops to Downtown Seattle (#40 south), Northgate Mall (#40 North) and Udistrict (#44 West).
