Why Will Shoreman chose Providenciales - Provo
After visiting other Caribbean Islands, I fell in love with the Turks and Caicos Islands for the amazing natural beauty of the white sands and calm, clear, turquoise waters. These truly are the most beautiful beaches in the world and seeing is believing. Talk to the locals and ex-pats and you will find that TCI has a bit of the Wild West in its’ soul. Crazy stories from the 70’s and 80’s with people waiting for a shipment of food to arrive, constant power outages and locals driving to the airport runway to put on headlights so the planes could land……these stories shape the island, add character and make memories.
Aside from the great restaurants with local specialties/excellent wine lists and some with the best chefs in the Caribbean, there’s also my favorite past time, golf. I can play golf year-round on a spectacular Caribbean course! Most importantly though, there is something about the breeze and the light in the morning across Provo, or the sunset that lights up the sky in color, that makes greeting the day easier. Enough said, now, back to my hammock for with a glass of wine.
