Come to the Island and stay in an incredible historic home built in 1872 and surrounded by mature trees on a one acre property. Roseleaf Manor has five bedrooms, one of which is on the main floor, and accommodates up to ten people. Featuring eleven foot ceilings with most of the period details intact including four decorative slate fireplaces. It is furnished largely with antiques, many of which are original to the house, and hundreds of books spanning the last century line bookcases throughout the home. Roseleaf Manor is truly unique and a remarkable tribute to life in a simpler time. After a day exploring the Island relax in the charming setting of the sunporch or stroll through the gardens of adjacent Victoria Inn. Only 10 minutes from fabulous North Shore Beaches, 5 minutes from the Indian River Music Festival, 15 minutes from Cavendish, 20 minutes from Anne of Green Gables and the National Park, and less than 200 meters from the Confederation Trail. Kensington is the perfect hub for exploring the Island and offers most amenities within walking distance.
