TROPICAL GARDEN AND POOL: The villa, garden and pool provide the perfect background for your vacation retreat. You may not want to leave!!The garden will amaze you all day and evening. There are over 20 palm trees on the property; flowering Oleander bushes and endless flowering bushes. Watch the parrots fly through the garden, and iguana that munch on the leaves! The large pool, (12 feet by 8 feet), with large, teak sundeck, provides endless fun and enjoyment. Relax in the shade on the poolside veranda, where trade winds provide a cooling breeze. At night, lie in the pool and look at the stars.
OUTDOOR LIVING: Enjoy your meals outdoors, large, shaded tiled, patio by the pool and garden, complete with a teak table for 6 people and outdoor BBQ. Relax in hammocks or loungers.
CHILDREN: are welcome. NOTE: The pool does not have a fence around it. You need to supervise your children. The property itself has a wall around it.
INSIDE THE HOUSE: 1,883 square ft. / 175 m2. All bedrooms have air conditioning; all rooms have ceiling fans. Tiled floors throughout; white stucco walls. All rooms have windows have shutters and screens, and garden views.
NO ADAPTORS NEEDED: All rooms have electrical outlets for 110V or 220V. Your hairdryer from North America, or Europe will work!
WIRELESS INTERNET: Works throughout the entire house and on the poolside patio. Bring a surge protector, just in case there is an electrical surge.
KITCHEN: Fully-equipped, modern, European design, granite counter-tops, stainless steel double-sinks, dishwasher, large, 4-burner gas stove with oven. Palm trees peek through the kitchen window above the kitchen sinks. Double-French doors lead to the pool and patio for easy outdoor dining.
AIR CONDITIONING IN BEDROOMS: All bedrooms have an air-conditioning unit on the wall. Remote controls in each room allow you to adjust the temperature.
MASTER BEDROOM: King Size bed for your comfort. Attached bathroom, modern European design with moulded counter, 2 sinks, and large tiled shower. Large, shuttered window completes this room.
SECOND BEDROOM: Double bed; 2 windows to the garden and pool. Open the window for poolside living!
THIRD BEDROOM: Smaller room, with 2 single beds. Poolside window. Single beds can be pushed together.
LIVING ROOM: Beautiful vaulted ceiling; contemporary furniture. sofas; TV, bookcase, wireless internet. Open the windows in the morning to enjoy the cool breezes. When it is hot outside, the windows with shutters (with built-in screens) keep the house cool.
OUTDOOR FACILITIES: Rinse tank for SCUBA and other gear; hooks to dry gear and wetsuits; clothesline; outdoor shower to rinse off yourself or your gear. Locked storage area if needed for dive gear.
SECURITY: Property fully walled and gated. For your peace of mind, house alarm system. The manager will show you how to use it.
PARKING: Under shaded carport, behind the gate. Ample street parking as well.

DIVING: Bonaire is consistently voted as the top shore-diving spot in the world.
LANGUAGES SPOKEN: All people speak English as well as Dutch. People here are multilingual, and easily switch from French, Dutch, English, German, and Papiamentu, the local language.
ASSISTANCE WHILE STAYING IN MY HOUSE: I work with a professional property management company. They are only 5 minutes away, and their assistance to you is included in the service fee. Their services include:your transport from the airport to the house, and return to the airport; booking of car/truck rental; dive packages; and discounts with their local partners.
They will meet you at the house; show you how to use everything; and answer any questions you may have. They will even buy groceries for you before your arrival! Just provide your credit card information two weeks before your arrive.
When you book the house, the Management company will send you a rental agreement which outlines payment options. You can pay by credit card or wire transfer to their bank. They will call you if you prefer to give credit card details by phone.
HOUSECLEANING: Once mid-way in the week, and clean towels and bed linens.
CELL PHONES: Check with your service provider, for travel rates in the Caribbean. You can also check out the price of local cellphones with a prepaid card for minutes.

Hi, I am Nancy, the owner of the house. I live in Osoyoos, in the Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada. The Okanagan Valley is a 4 hour drive East of Vancouver. The Valley is famous for its wineries, cherries, apples, peaches, and spectacular scenery with warm lakes, valleys and mountains.
Osoyoos has a dry, desert climate. It is in the northern tip of the Sonoran desert, which starts in Mexico, goes through the United States and into Canada. It is Canada's only desert. And we also have a large lake!
It is very hot in the summer, and mild in the winter. In the summer, we have a lot of fun with water sports of all kinds. In the winter, the mountains are close by for skiing and other winter sports.
I love windsurfing, kayaking, stand up paddle, swimming and just being in the water. I first learned about Bonaire in a windsurfing magazine. Bonaire appealed to me because I felt safe; it has a relaxed atmosphere, and is not over-developed or spoiled by too much tourism. I have been to other islands and I keep returning here. The fact that most people speak English is helpful to me. I enjoy all of the other aspects of the island: snorkeling; sunsets; warm water; the tropical ambiance; flamingos; parrots; iguana; and making new friends, from around the world.

I love windsurfing and first learned about Bonaire in a windsurfing magazine. I fell in love with the beauty and peacefulness of Bonaire. Lac Bay, has the windsurf beach which is only a 5 minute drive from my house in Belnem. Dive sites, beaches, kite beach, and downtown are all only a 5 minute drive.
Bonaire is below the hurricane belt and governed by Dutch law. So I felt secure in buying property here.
I like the feel of living in a local neighbourhood rather than a tourist area. Belnem is near the southern tip of the island. In a few minutes, you can feel like you are on a remote island, with amazing ocean views.
I love the location of my house. Every evening, I walk to Bachelor Beach and watch the sunset, cruise ships, listen to the birds, and watch the ever-changing ocean.
Over time, I had many plants added to the garden. I often stay at home all day, enjoying by the pool and garden! Bird songs are wonderful in the morning and evening. I've even had birds come into the living room if I have the windows open.
Lac Bay is an easy place to learn and to practice windsurfing. The Bay is not very deep. When you fall off, you can just stand up and start again!! This makes learning so much easier than learning in deep water. If you are more advanced, you can sail further into the larger bay.
There are two windsurf shops which provide rentals and lessons. They are right on the beach, so it is easy to change your sail size and board whenever you need.
Lac Bay is also protected by a reef so there are no scary, big fish to worry about. It a is great for your family; a restaurant, shade, and beach chairs complete the atmosphere.
Kite surfers have their beach, and a local company provides gear and lessons.
Divers: lots of options for you!

'My mother loves your house!! The garden and house are so well-kept. We rented it for a month, and we all loved it!! We have many happy memories from our vacation there. The pool was great for our family to come home, after playing on the beaches. Lots of space to relax, eat outdoors, and have fun together."
Four of us, two couples, stayed at this house for two weeks. The home was lovely, ideally furnished and configured, beautiful garden, amenities including a very nice pool, conveniently located and well supported by Sunbelt Bonaire. One evening we had left all our valuables, including keys, with a dive shop. After our dives and a break we realized the shop was closed for the night and we couldn't raise anyone to retrieve our keys to the house. We called Sunbelt and they met in about 15 minutes at the house to let us in - whew. We had a great holiday focussed on scuba diving, but also kayaking mangroves and two days windsurfing.
This is still my absolutely favourite house on the island! I love everything about it. I wouldn't change a thing. After staying at countless places (hotels and houses) over the last 6 years in different areas (including Sabadeco) I appreciate how lovely and well maintained this home is even more. The layout is well designed, the garden and porches are perfect, there is lots of privacy and the neighbourhood is quiet and convenient, the kitchen has all the amenities and of course, having a private pool to use in the backyard is amazing. I recommend Kas Shinishi to anyone who wants to spend time away from home but still can feel "at home". It is perfect for families and couples travelling together. It is convenient to all the diving spots and windsurfing and kiting as well as restaurants and attractions in town.
You won't be disappointed! The only problem we had is that we didn't want to leave!
Belnem is an upscale neighborhood, a 5 minute drive south of downtown. My house is only a one-minute walk to Bachelor Beach. Watch the sunset and the cruise ships heading out to sea.
Drive only 5 minutes to Lac Bay, a world-class windsurf spot with rentals and lessons for beginners to experts. Lac Bay has activities for everyone; safe area for children; restaurants; beach chairs; shade; kayak rentals, and more. A great place just to hang out.
If you are a kiter or windsurfer, check out Windguru for wind patterns. The Trade Winds are wonderful for sailing. Kitesurfing Beach at Atlantis, only a 5 minute drive.
The charm of Bonaire is that it is unspoiled and not overdeveloped. It has all the land and water-based activities you could want but without crowds!! it is sunny all of the time, and warm all year. You can have a great vacation at any time of the year.

If you have children, there are many beaches where you can relax and watch them play in the sand and water. If your partner is a windsurfer, Lac Bay is a great place to hang out and watch everyone. Restaurants, shaded areas, beach chairs, loungers, sandy beach, shallow water, washrooms. The Kiter beach doesn't have the same amenities.

Upon reservation : 25% deposit.
60 days before arrival: The remaining 75% of the reservation value should be paid.
