Overview

Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday cottage in Missoula

2 Bedrooms / 1 Bath house in Lewis and Clark / Rose Park area

One of the most important things when traveling is having a comfortable and convenient home-base and the cottage offers both. The house is thoughtfully furnished and stocked with things needed to make our guest's vacations easy and relaxing while being within walking distance of downtown, the University, the neighborhood coffee shop and several parks. Further, an empty locking garage is available for guests to store their bikes, canoe, kayaks, etc.

Special attention has been paid to make the home family-friendly if you are traveling with kids; we want the house to have everything you need so you can bring just the essentials. A Pack and Play, high chair, toys, a forehead thermometer, family games and the ability to do laundry will go a long way toward making your vacation easy and relaxing so you can focus on having the best possible trip.

The cottage is centrally located and is close to everything. It is an easy 1.1 mile walk along tree-shaded sidewalks to downtown where there are dozens of wonderful restaurants and shops to explore. If you walk northeast 1.1 miles from the cottage, you can visit the University of Montana and all the cultural and sporting events it has to offer.

Caffe Dolce is the neighborhood restaurant 5 blocks from the cottage that offers coffee, pastries, meals and gelato. It is a delicious cafe a lovely walk away.

Lion's Park is 4 blocks away and offers play equipment, swings, picnic area and a splash deck which runs in the summer. One block north is Rose Park which offers a block of open space.

To acquaint yourself with the cottage, please review the pictures and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We want you to have a fantastic trip to Missoula and the cottage provides a perfect home-base for a relaxing and happy vacation.

About Stacey Bliss

My husband and I have lived in Montana for 18 years and we enjoy sharing what Missoula has to offer with out-of-town visitors. We purchased the cottage specifically for a vacation rental in the family-friendly Lewis and Clark / Rose Park neighborhoods, which is where we live.

Stacey Bliss purchased this cottage in 2013

What makes this cottage unique

We have traveled quite a bit with our kids so we are familiar with what makes a good home-base when vacationing. We have stocked and furnished the cottage with families in mind, but it is comfortable for anyone. We know that a convenient, easy and comfortable place to stay helps make a great trip.

Brick Cottage is a great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

Awesome place to stay! We especially appreciated the cleanliness of the home , the quiet and safe neighborhood feeling with its proximity to downtown Missoula and the University. The tiled shower was amazing and the keyless entry made it easy to come and go. The comfortable beds and living room furniture, along with the smart TV, provided a relaxing stay for both young adults and their parents. Thanks to Stacey for providing a list of local restaurants. El Diablo was a great healthy Mexican , fast food option located close to the cottage.

Great Place to Stay !!!

  • 5 of 5

This was a great experience for my family! The cottage was cleaner than a 5 Star hotel. It is well equipped and stocked with everything you need for cooking. The beds are comfortable and a very comfortable living area too! Stacey made everything easy and was great to deal with. You can walk into downtown Missoula and the Orange Street Grocery is conveniently close. We will definitely come back. Thanks again to Stacey for providing a wonderful place to stay!

Convenient Comfort

  • 5 of 5

Close to Brooks to get you quickly anywhere, but far enough away from Brooks to make for a quiet night's sleep--the comfortable beds help you sleep as well. Stacey was well-organized making it easy to make reservations and get any information we needed. Thanks Stacey for a fabulous place to stay!

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to share your comments. You make a good point; it is easy to get to downtown or the University from the cottage but it isn't in the thick of traffic or noise. Glad you had a good experience and come back soon!

Shhhh!! Adorable Brick Cottage in Missoula

  • 5 of 5

I’m torn between keeping this GEM a secret and shouting from the mountain tops. We had a fabulous stay at the adorable brick cottage in Missoula. It was very clean, very comfortable, and very cute, and Stacey was so easy to work with! We had dinner at Caffe Dolce - delicious - the first night and shopped at the Missoula Food Coop for provisions for rest of our stay. This far surpassed staying in a hotel/motel. We loved being able to eat in and so enjoyed having room to relax after long days at the State Swim Meet at UM. The cottage is close to everything, but on a quite side street. The only bummer was that we weren’t able to stay longer. I’m looking forward to having another reason to stay in Missoula at the adorable brick cottage!

Big Sky Documentary stay

  • 5 of 5

My family and I really enjoyed this little cottage!! The best thing was Stacey!! So friendly and available and casual. It's very conveniently located to all the shopping, and just a quick drive to campus and theaters and downtown! It's clean, great beds, great living room. We ate out at Cafe Dolce, which is an easy walk! We love small spaces with rooms like this as opposed to generic hotel rooms where you have to eat out every meal. Highly recommended!
