This 110 m2 apartment, located on the third story of an elevator building on the prestigious Carrer de Muntaner in L'Esquerra de l'Eixample, has beautiful period details, including original mosaic floors, high plaster ceilings, stain-glass windows and polished wooden archways. A modern fully equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom with shower, bathtub, and toilet, and another half-bath (toilet and sink) offers the perfect combination of elegance and practicality.

There is a large master bedroom with an arched sitting area at the back of the apartment, while two smaller bedrooms, one windowed, one without, line the hallway, so that no bedroom faces the street, providing for a peaceful night's sleep. The large living room has six tall windows opening onto terraces, with couches and a television. An adjoining dining area comfortably seats 6.

Within walking distance to Placa Catalunya, Passeig de Gracia, las Ramblas and the historic districts of El Born, El Raval and El Barrio Gotico the apartment is ideally located. Restaurants, shops, a supermarket, and public parking are all nearby.

About Owner/Property Manager

We are a NYC family. I used to come to Barcelona to shoot TV commercials and loved it, now I just visit for fun with the family. I plan to spend 6 months a year in Europe and use it as a base.

We wanted something that felt like it was part of Barcelona, not just a mod apartment you could find anywhere. There's some beautiful detail, and it's in one of the best areas. It's great for families because we get a nice big master and the kids have their own rooms.

What makes this apartment unique

It is very sunny. The stores and restaurants in the surrounding blocks are first-rate. You can walk to the historic districts but you are not surrounded by tourists, so it feels more like a neighborhood you live in.

Beautiful apartment in great location. Highly recommend it!

We were extremely happy with our stay at this beautiful apartment. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as Graciela had lit lovely candles in the apartment,and there was a bowl of fresh strawberries and a bottle of wine waiting for us. Such a nice thing to do. The apartment was pristine and had everything we needed. Kitchen was fully equipped and bedding/towels were fresh and new. Graciela was lovely and helpful. She sent us a list of restaurants and we went to one of them and it was a very good restaurant. The apartment was in a great location with lots of cafes/restaurants and Passeig de Gracia within walking distance. We really loved our stay and would definitely recommend this apartment. They have thought of everything to make your stay as easy and pleasant as possible.

The apartment is spacious ,well located and wonderfully decorated.The customer service was wonderful since the beginning. THEY TOOK CARE OF EVERY SINGLE DETAIL JUST TO MAKE YOU FEEL HOME.GRACIELA was wonderful and a great help in Barcelona . My adult children and myself fall in love with Barcelona and with the apartment!!!

Super apartment for Barcelona

We found the apartment made an excellent holiday home base for our family of 5 during our two weeks in Barcelona. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 with a King size bed and two with queen sized beds. In a pinch, you can also transform the formal dining room into another bedroom using one of two rather comfortable blow up mattresses. The apartment is truly beautiful with tile throughout and a nice view out the living room and breakfast room windows.

Bakeries and markets are less than a block away, which makes it easy to make dinners in the evenings. The stove works well but there is no oven, just a microwave. The washer/dryer is convenient to have as well. The neighborhood is lovely and within walking distance to Passeig de Gràcia sites and shopping as well as the metro and train. We typically walked or took subway/regional rail to activities, then returned by taxi. Four different stations are within 6-8 blocks, providing many options for efficient routes. The only cons were some city noise at night and no oven. We were able to extend our stay a few nights - I would definitely rent again in future trips to Barcelona. I really appreciated the warm welcome from Graciela the apartment manager.

Elegant, Spacious Apartment in a Great Residential Neighborhood

What an elegant apartment it is! Old time elegance mixed with modern decoration! Everything we expected and then a bit more. And it's located in a local residential neighborhood. We talked to the taxi driver and he said that the area where the apartment is located is one of the truly upscale neighborhood in Barcelona. Abundant restaurants and bards around where locals, not the tourists, frequent. Grocery shopping is just 2 minutes away. And about 15 minutes walk you are in Passeig de Garcia with Gaudi landmarks Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, plus all the luxury shopping. And 2 subway stations is 2-3 blocks away, which will take you to all the major sites in no more than 20 minutes.

Communication with the owner, David, was smooth and prompt. When we arrived at the apartment, we were greeted by Graciela with a bottle of Cava, a bottle of red wine, and a beautiful fruit basket. Graciela is very accommodating, explaining everything in great details and with patience. Everything was in working order.

We had a great time staying at the apartment, and will certainly return when we visit Barcelona again!

Fantastic Place to stay in Barcelona

We traveled to Barcelona with our three children. This apartment was the perfect place for our family. It is updated, americanized, yet still remains authentic to the feel of Spain. The location was fantastic for proximity of restaurants, cultural sites and shopping. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go during our 3 day stay. There are wonderful coffee shops, markets, etc. close by. You really feel like you are in the heart of Barcelona during your stay. We traveled to France after departing Barcelona and all three of our girls longed to go back to this apartment in Barcelona because the stay was so enjoyable!
