The Oderberger Strasse, often called the 'hippest' street in Berlin, is a beautiful, wide street right on the limits of Mitte & Prenzlauer Berg. It is a very lively yet very relaxed street that offers the distinctively bohemian vibe Prenzlauer Berg has been made famous for. Artsy cafes, quaint boutiques and laid back restaurants make it a favorite destination of locals and visitors alike. The apartment is located between the Kastanienallee with its myriads of bars, restaurants and coffee shops -among which the renowned Prater, Berlin’s oldest beer garden- and the Mauerpark with its very popular Sunday flea market.The entertainment complex of the Kulturbrauerei is just around the corner, as well as the Kollwitzplatz with its fine wining and dining (and, of course, shopping). Berlin landmarks such as the TV Tower or the Museum Island are a leisurely stroll.This is an ideal base for exploring Berlin: right in the heart of the city but quieter than touristic Mitte and charming day or night.

Fantastic apartment - fantastic host

Lena wasn't free to meet us when we arrived, but her boyfriend, Lars, was there and was very helpful and welcoming.
We were pleasantly pleased with the apartment. The photos are accurate, and the place was very clean and tidy. Lena was very thoughtful to make sure we had everything we needed - lots of information on things to do in Berlin, coffee, fruit, and manuals on all electric equipment. There is more than enough space for two or three people.
The location is also fantastic. Very easy access to the tram, but quiet enough at night. Close to the Mauerpark market and lots of shops and restaurants.

Lastly, I was catching a flight out of Berlin at 6am and Lena was kind enough to call ahead for a taxi for me. She was thoughtful and helpful throughout my stay.

All in all, I feel very lucky to have found this apartment. I whole-heartedly recommend it!

If you don't mind walking up a few flights of stairs, this is an excellent place to stay while in Berlin. This funky spot is in an excellent location and helped to make our stay in Berlin amazing! There are literally TONS of great restaurants, bars and shops right outside your doorstep so there is always something new and fun to explore. Overall this apartment is excellent value for money.
We had an amazing time and would defeinitely recommend it to others!

A touch of luxury!

We stayed at Lenna's apartment for a week and loved every minute of it. The apartment is on one of the coolest streets in Berlin, full of nice restaurants, bars and great shopping and also extremely convenient for public transportation. We were surprised at how quiet the street was, given its central location. Lenna is a great host -she welcomed us with a bottle of wine and a fully stocked kitchen, including fresh fruits, coffee and chocolates! She also supplied us with tons of information about going around etc. which made our stay even better. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, very elegant and very comfortable. It had a lot of character and we loved the feeling of staying at a real Berlin home and not some faceless hotel room. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience Berlin with a little touch of luxury!

Had a great time staying at this apartment! I have rented apartments in Berlin before but this one was by far the best! Super friendly and attentive owners,
very tasteful interiors, awesome view from the balcony down (in my opinion) Berlin’s most beautiful street and a high level of comfort (huge bed, great mattress, I haven’t slept so well in most hotels I’ve stayed). The kitchen was equipped with everything you need even for extensive cooking and the bathroom was fully stocked; all in all this felt more like a “home away from home” rather than a rental place. As for the location, this area is easily my favourite in Berlin - very central but not overly touristic, you can just walk everywhere and there are tons of shops, little cafes and restaurants with this unique Berlin atmosphere that you just don’t find anywhere else. Perfect! I’ll be back!
