We equipped our holiday home with care & high quality as a '4 season & wellness house' for a max. of 6 adults & 2 small children. It doesn't matter which season it is when you come here, you will not be bored.
On about 115 m2 living space on the ground floor & top floor, you will find everything you need for an exclusive holiday. Rustic oak furniture gives the house a particularly special flair. The cosy seats in the living room area guarantee a relaxed evening by the fireplace & the 42' LCD TV. If it is still too cold, in the bathroom on the ground floor you will find a sauna. Another bathroom is on the top floor. In one of the bedrooms on the top floor you will find a 2nd LCD-TV. The comfortable kitchen is a component of the very cosy living & dining area on the ground floor. The outdoor area has a large, 2-sided terrace with a table, sun umbrella, garden bench, 6 garden chairs and 2 relaxation loungers. In the small garden house you will find an electric grill & a wagon for walks.
'The island house Heringsdorf': Escape the hectic for a few days and relax away from
sirens, honking cars and all other sounds of civilization. Sleep as long as you want. Then get your bread from the baker (about 10 min) and eat your breakfast in peace. Drive with your own or a rented bicycle into the nearby cities, go on a steam boat tour along the coast or take the wagon and go to the beach.
You can ring out the day on the terrace by the grill or in the XXL beach basket. Or you can stop by one of the many bars and restaurants in the city. Those who like to fish can try their luck in Ueckeritz at the fishing pond, which is only a few kilometres from the 'Island House'.
We have been renting the newly built house since the middle of April 2010 and have had it classified
through the German tourism association as a '5 star holiday home'.
About the location: Heringsdorf is not only scenic and beautiful and has a special flair through its well-kept villas, no it has a lot more to offer. Those who want diverse entertainment are perfect here. Countless options in the comfortable surrounding for eating add to the good shopping facilities and a diverse cultural offering. In the summer, there is a theatre tent and concerts are held in the spa hall not just for the Usedom music festival. The fashion shows from Heringsdorf are now a popular event and no longer a secret - 'Heringsdorf goes fashion'. The art festival in the early summer and the annual emperor days are just two more examples for the diverse cultural offering - and those who love to play can try their luck at the casino. Just a few minutes from the house you will find the stop for the Usedom Bäderbahn, which drive to Swinemünde (Poland).
Additional information: The Island House is on the edge of a small holiday home settlement in the resort and is reached through a private path as a cul de sac without through-traffic and on foot, it is the last of three properties. On the property there are 2 parking spaces. The entrance to the parking spaces offers space for 2 more parking spaces.
In order to allow for our small guests to have a comfortable holiday, our 'Island House' has dishes for small children and children, utensils, 2 high chairs, 1 baby tub, step in the bathrooms, 1 bed with rails with covers and pillows, 1 cot, children's books and games, garden and beach toys and of course the wagon for going to the beach and back.
A gate on the top floor by the steps into the ground floor makes children not have any worries.
