Large living room/bedroom, well-equipped kitchenette, day-light bath with shower

The comfortable and newly furnished (2009) holiday apartment is located on the first floor of a beautiful, old school house and was once the town hall of the city. The apartment has 35 m2. The living room and bedroom is equipped with a modern double bed, softwood cabinet and commodes, leather seats and a completely equipped kitchenette. Television, radio with CD player.

In the daylight bathroom you will find a large shower, a sink with a mirror cabinet and a WC. In the spacious anteroom you will find a cloakroom. The property is completely enclosed with an old stone wall. Next to the entrance area you will find a furnished porch that can be used by the guests. You have the option of grilling here. For cars, motorcyclists or bicycles, there is a garage available.

Wolkshausen: Wolkshausen - a district of Gaukönigshofen - is a beautiful, small city in Ochsenfurter Gau. Not only is there good agriculture in Bavaria, but the environment is beautiful, the close proximity to Wurzburg and finally the friendly and open people make it lovely and adorable. Wolkshausen is centrally located with short paths to the A3 and A7. You can quickly reach Wurzburg, the wine cities of Randersacker, Eibelstadt or Sommerhausen. Beautiful destinations in the south include Weikersheim, Creglingen, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Bad Mergentheim or Bad Windsheim. The Gaubahn bicycle path leads past the city, along with a part of the German Road to Santiago. A gate can be stepped through by pilgrims in the district of Rittershausen. You can see that a visit is not only relaxing, but diverse as well.

Cooking courses for foreign visitors: I would be happy to offer you one or two day German cooking courses. Costs on request.

This is a spacious studio apartment with a large bathroom, well equipped kitchenette and comfortable bed. Located south of Wurzburg, with easy access to the Autobahn system, this is as an excellent base for day trips throughout Bavaria and the surrounding states. Renate is an excellent hostess who shares a wealth of area knowledge, resources and trip guides. Having previously served in Germany I was interested in reconnecting with some old friends. Renate coordinated a surprise reunion on the first day of our visit. If you choose to stay here, look forward to some traditional, warm German hospitality.

Charming schoolhouse wonderfully renovated

Thank you Renate for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment. The fee was small but the apartment was large for a studio and had a very large bathroom. We enjoyed the quiet, rural location and your loaning us the area maps. Wurzburg is a very drive north and worth seeing.
