Excellent accommodation - Wonderful experience

We stayed for a week in the 2 bedroom apartment in July 2009. The apartments had recently been refurbished and are to a very high standard.
The description is understated, its an oasis of calm amongst the olive groves. We used to have morning breakfast on the back terrace, overlooking the vineyards. The Manager was always very courteous and willing to help, and suggested a couple of places to visit which were well worth it. Didn't have a great experience taking the train into Rome, difficult to purchase tickets and then on the day we trained it to Rome, the scheduled train (last train of the day) was cancelled at short notice - not very nice when you have two young children with you. Anyway, as we had hired a car, we were adventurous enoug to drive into outskirts of Rome and take the subway. At least that way, we were guaranteed we would get back home.
Supermarket across the road, very convenient and found a lovely little patiserrie selling delicious croissants and pastries not far off.
Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to friends and relatives.
