Lovely holiday home
My family and I enjoyed a wonderful holiday in this beautiful house.
The accomodation was even more impressive than we had expected. The kitchen was very well equipped, as was the utility room. The bedrooms were all spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed several warm evenings dining on the outdoor roof terrace and star gazing. There was a vast selection of books and CDs and an excellent entertainment system (with TVs in most rooms).
Our children were very pleased to have the use of the indoor pool, which was kept at a very pleasant temperature. They also were very happy in the loft bedroom, and thrilled to find a cupboard full of games and toys. The owner has paid particular attention to making the house comfortable for children of all ages.
There were bicycles for adults and children, which were put to good use on the extensive and beautiful cycling route along the coast. We enjoyed the services of the local baker, who delivered fresh buns to us every morning. We also had a mid-week cleaning which could have been more thorough but nevertheless was appreciated.
The house is in a very nice, quiet road, next to a stately home hotel, which has lovely grounds and outdoor dining. The beach is a very close walk, down a shady promenade. There is nothing here that will disturb the peace and, although you will have to drive further away for groceries, it is a beautiful spot, well placed for a relaxing break.
We will most certainly be back - in either summer or winter.
