Ground Level One bedroom apartment in quiet up & coming residential neighborhood 4 blocks from Ocean Park beach. Easy access to Old San Juan and within walking distance to Condado. The apartment is a freestanding structure on a property that houses other apartments that we live or manage. The apartment is completely equipped, it has a Queen size bed and plenty of closet space. The kitchen includes all essentials, including beach towels for you to take to the beach. We also provide WiFi and basic Cable. Air Conditioner is window type.
The adjacent Loiza street is undergoing a resurgence thanks to the establishment of a new wave of restaurants and shops including a 24 hour convenience store. It also provides access to buses to take you to Old San Juan, Isla Verde, etc. You can easily walk to the Condado Center.
About Old San Juan:
Places and monuments emphasized in tourism campaigns include: Old San Juan, promoting the historic nature of its colonial buildings and narrow streets covered by adoquine, a blue stone cast from furnace slag; they were brought over as ballast on Spanish ships. This includes the city's ancient defensive wall and forts, most notably El Morro and the Castle of San Cristóbal. On January 23, 1984 both of these edifices were catalogued as being part of humanity's cultural patrimony.

The property is a short walk to Ocean Park Beach, one of the most sought out beaches in San Juan. It's location is convenient for those seeking easy access in and out of the Metro Area and the airport is a 7 min. drive.
We enjoyed staying in the hub of activity of San Juan. Eduardo was attentive to our needs and quick to respond to questions & requests including help with dining & other activities. We felt like we were part of the neighborhood. One might like earplugs because of the sounds of the city.

Close to a lot of touristic places, just few blocks from the beach. It's good for the price.
This is a wonderful place to stay in Ocean Park. I have also stayed at the studio on the property (http://www.vrbo.com/390026) which I also love. I returned to Puerto Rico for a month & due to availability I stayed in this 1 bedroom. When owner Beatriz welcomed me & showed me the apartment I was so happy—by the beauty, space & all the amenities. It has everything—a full kitchen, great living & dining area, nice bathroom & lovely bedroom. I especially love the bedroom with its comfortable bed, long mirrors on closet doors, big closet space & dresser, warm lighting & decorations. Air conditioning is great in bedroom. There’s also a nice ceiling fan you can use if you prefer to not have air conditioning on. There are powerful ceiling fans in the living & dining area that are very helpful. Other pluses included WiFi, cable TV, and lots of towels & linens. Overall, I felt peaceful & at home in this apartment. It was more than I could ask for. In terms of the whole property, I enjoy staying there & always do when I visit Puerto Rico. Beautiful plants fill the property & the coqui frogs singing during the rain is enchanting. Being in Ocean Park, you are close to everything & much is accessible by walking—the ocean, great eating places & bars, and all kinds of stores. I rented a car & always found a parking spot right in front of the property or just across the street. I also walked the short distance to Calle Loiza to take the bus into Viejo San Juan—a GREAT way to travel in the area during the day & early evening. When driving, it was easy to get around because the area is centrally located. For example, it was easy to do my laundry at a nearby laundry mat, and I was home quickly after at night out a bar, restaurant, or event in the larger metropolitan area. Last but not least, I keep returning to stay here because owners Beatriz & Eduardo are great. They are super helpful & easy to work with in terms of setting up reservation, getting instructions, etc. When I first arrived, Eduardo shared with me where to get good coffee—places I wouldn’t have otherwise known & I greatly appreciated the advice! They are down-to-earth, friendly & private—respecting your privacy & also providing information/assistance as needed. I really appreciate them and their 1-bedroom & studio. I value supporting local families over giving my money to corporate hotels so it’s always an easy choice for me to stay here. How great the property and owners are makes it an even easier choice.
