Remote and Beautiful

  • 5 out of 5
We wanted to experience the real rural Montana when visiting for a wedding. It was the perfect choice. In a beautiful setting, the property was well appointed with every amenity that we needed. The owners are very attentive to our needs and checked in with us to insure that we were enjoying our stay.We went trout fishing and visited Glacier National Park. Loved every minute of our stay !

Perfection in the Bitterroots

  • 5 out of 5
This house exceeded our expectations. We found it spotlessly clean and with a warm welcome from the owners in the form of a personal note, wine and goodies. We loved the beautifully landscaped lawn and flowers and all of the perfect decorating touches. The beds are so comfortable that we slept well and loved waking up to the beautiful vistas. We found Stevensville to be just the right location for hiking and exploring all of the small towns in the Bitterroots. Thanks Tim and Linda for providing such a beautiful cabin for such an amazing price.

Lovely Place

  • 5 out of 5
This cabin was a great place for us (two couples) to stay for three nights. It was very clean and well stocked. We used the grill which was out with charcoal beside it. The kitchen is also well stocked and made it nice to eat breakfast there. Another great touch is having a washer and dryer. The owners had a hospitality gift waiting for us when we arrived. They do a great job of attending to details and made sure our needs were met. The view is great and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a place in that area.

The Bitterroot Valley 2014

  • 5 out of 5
When we pulled up in front of Tim and Linda's log cabin are jaws dropped to see the marigolds and petunias by the front porch and the Bitterroot Mountains in the distance. What an incredible welcome. Even more mind boggling was opeing the front door and seeing a homey decor reminisent of Santa Fe that is so hospitable and warm. The cathedral ceiling and glass let in light to cheer the living and dining areas. The open concept of kitchen, dining and living area with French doors facing east and west gave an expansive view of the mountains. The kitchen was a fully equiped with all modern conveniences. Tim and Linda had not forgotten a thing. The luxurious bathroom with its jacuzzi was a highlight for our whole family. Lots relaxation went on while soaking and bubbling. Both bedrooms were so well appointed, restful and just calming. The sliding glass door facing the mountains allowed us beautiful mountain views and cool evening air. Sitting out at night on either of the two decks with our teenage grandsons sparked many conversations about the beauty all around us and the full moon that we experieneced during the week. Our soncstant companions were 5 mares and three colts in the ten acre corral twenty feet away from the cabin.
this has been the best family vacation in the most beautiful spot "where the river runs through it".
Tim and Linda's daughter Keri is a gem and a most gracious "conceirage". Thanks Tim and Linda for sharing your home with us. Jerry, Carolyn, Dave, Noah, Jakob and Isaac from Iowa

Wonderful Experience!

  • 5 out of 5
We stayed for a week in this charming cabin in the Bitterroot Valley and what a wonderful experience it was. The cabin was just perfect with everything we needed. It was such a pleasure sitting on the porch surrounded by the beautiful landscape and majestic mountains. We visit the Bitterroot Valley annually, but Tim and Linda made this trip extra special by providing such a lovely home away from home!

We celebrated our 20th anniversary here and couldn't have been happier. Tim and Linda were wonderful - even having a bottle of champagne for our arrival. We loved the view from this comfortable and aesthetically appealing cabin. The Bitterroot Mountain View was breathtaking, the horses in the pasture was a bonus because we love animals, and the lawn was beautiful. We spent many nights cooking out and mornings sipping coffee on picnic bench in this beautiful setting. Mission Bistro in Stevensville was a fantastic special dining experience. There are many close terrific hikes. We loved the Kootenai Creek Trail. People in town were friendly. We got to meet an artist from Stevensville who was former librarian from the town and a wonderful self taught artist. We can't wait to return to Montana! Thanks again Tim and Linda! Thanks to your daughter too for taking care of the cabin.
