Overview

Photos and Description of this 2 bedroom holiday cabin in Stevensville - Bitterroot Sunset Cabin

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

The Bitterroot Sunset Cabin is located on 10 acres on the foothill benches of the Sapphire Mountains. You are in the middle of premier Montana landscapes, historic sites, wilderness and wildlife refuges. Fishing or floating the Bitter root River is close at hand.

Stevensville, Montana's oldest community, and its shops, restaurants, medical facilities, post office and ranger station are just minutes away. Kalispell, Missoula, Hamilton and Darby are shopping and antique-hunting meccas in area communities. For hikers, many trails await your exploration in the scenic Sapphire or the Bitter root Mountains.

The cabin itself is an open, inviting single level, two bedroom fully furnished home that has been recently renovated with a western artistic flair and comfortable elegance. Enjoy your culinary experiments in the fine dining area open to the living room where comfortable couches, reading lamps and a writing desk await. Gaze out the large windows and ponder the beautiful mountains, landscapes and ever-changing famous Montana sky.

Free internet service is provided to the cabin. The TV's and or DVD's will help you drift off to sleep in each of the warm, cozy, exquisitely furnished bedrooms if the Jacuzzi-type tub hasn't already done the trick. Picnic table, patio furniture and BBQ are available for your outdoor activities and convenience. The property has several corrals for horses, should the need arise.

Treat yourself and be inspired - Make this your home away from home any time of year.

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very nice with all that we could have hoped for. We enjoyed the farming that was all around the cabin. The views were fantastic and very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the porch with the views and great weather. We would recommend the cabin and would stay again. Tim and Linda were very helpful throughout the entire time.

This nice little cabin was everything pictured and more! A nice quiet get away that is still close to town and all the great things Montana has to offer. Thank you Tim and Linda for a wonderful stay.

D&D

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this log cabin. It is very tastefully decorated and was equipped with everything we needed or wanted. We would highly recommend this as a great place to stay while enjoying the surrounding area. The views were great in all directions. We hope to make a return visit soon!

Great Stay out in the Country-side

  • 5 of 5

We went to Montana to visit family. We wanted an alternative to staying in a motel so we found Tim and Linda's cabin home on VRBO. It is several miles east of downtown Stevensville (which turned out to be a really nice little town to explore - claiming to be the oldest town in Montana!). Their cabin was lovely - so quiet and peaceful, very clean and well maintained. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to have a very pleasant rural stay, in a very nice cabin home.

Remote and Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

We wanted to experience the real rural Montana when visiting for a wedding. It was the perfect choice. In a beautiful setting, the property was well appointed with every amenity that we needed. The owners are very attentive to our needs and checked in with us to insure that we were enjoying our stay.We went trout fishing and visited Glacier National Park. Loved every minute of our stay !

Perfection in the Bitterroots

  • 5 of 5

This house exceeded our expectations. We found it spotlessly clean and with a warm welcome from the owners in the form of a personal note, wine and goodies. We loved the beautifully landscaped lawn and flowers and all of the perfect decorating touches. The beds are so comfortable that we slept well and loved waking up to the beautiful vistas. We found Stevensville to be just the right location for hiking and exploring all of the small towns in the Bitterroots. Thanks Tim and Linda for providing such a beautiful cabin for such an amazing price.
