An excellent holiday home!

We have recently returned from an excellent holiday in Croatia, of which a week was spent at Villa Dalmatina. Our hosts, Tony and Mirjana, were exceptionally helpful and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the ground floor apartment, which had extensive living space, including a lovely terrace where we could enjoy the warm Croatian nights. I would also say, make sure you pack the insect bite cream!
The apartment was spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed for the week. We cooked in the very well equipped kitchen and also used the BBQ. The bedrooms had plenty of storage and the beds were very comfortable. As an extra bonus, there is also a beautiful pool to swim in.
The villa is just on the outskirts of Zadar, a place well worth visiting, with lots of interesting features and plenty of good restaurants. We hired a car in order to explore Croatia's national parks and were able to visit 4 of them from Villa Dalmatina, all of them very different, but all exceptional in their own way.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Dalmatina and we hope to return ourselves to enjoy another lovely holiday in Zadar.

The Beautiful Villa Dalmatina!

We booked Villa Dalmatina as we were attending a family wedding in Zadar. Seven of us stayed at the villa and it was perfect for our needs. The villa is absolutely beautiful and the views from the balcony are amazing! It is spotless and all amenities provided, everything we needed was available. We loved the swimming pool and used it most days. Tony was extremely helpful to us during our stay, organising taxis to and from the airport and transport for the wedding day, we didnt have to worry. We also made use of the barbeque, had a great night, but watch out for the mosquitoes as the area is surrounded by gorgeous bushes! Its about 20 minutes from the airport so very convenient. It is 30-40 minutes walk into the centre of Zadar, which is a beautiful place with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. We all dined at Sime restaurant, which is close to the villa just past Plodine supermarket. We used Plodine for all our essentials including fresh bread and beer. We will hopefully return in the future! Many of our family came and viewed the villa and they all agreed that it is a beautiful place to stay in Zadar.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
