The home has a true indoor/outdoor feel with walls of windows overlooking the pool and spa and multiple patios. You'll enjoy a large dining area with a table that can seat 8 people comfortably. No 60s home is complete with out a full wetbar to mix your favorite cocktails. The open living room features the original funnel-style vintage fireplace to warm you on a chilly winter night. The furnishings include a mix of vintage and mid-century styles, including an Eames lounge chair and rocker, vintage teak, Nelson lamps, with lighting.

Outside, you'll enjoy a pool that is big enough to swim laps. There's also a built in spa. Plenty of lounging areas to soak in the sun and mountain views. There's a large outdoor living area for lounging.

Why Colleen Jones chose Palm Springs
I bought this because of its historic qualities, being Arthur Elrod's original home in Palm Springs. It is unique compared to any other home in the neighborhood. I love the location in Racquet Club Estates, one of my favorite mid-century neighborhoods in all of Palm Springs.
What makes this house unique
What I love about this house, is the cozy feel of being in the living room. Walls of glass open the house to the outdoors, and it truly has an indoor outdoor feel to it- The unique fireplace is so cozy at night during a chilly winter evening. I also love the huge back yard, where you can enjoy views of the mountains, some of the best in town.
