Photos and Description of this 1 bedroom holiday bungalow in Man-O-War Cay - The White House
1 bed, 1 bath, seaside bungalow with amazing sunsets
The Whitehouse is a typical one-floor Bahamian bungalow that sleeps 5. Built on land that over-looks the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Sea of Abaco on the other, the Whitehouse allows unsurpassed sunset views. A 2 minute walk through the property to the Atlantic Ocean affords sunrise views. This land has been described by a local as 'one of the prettiest spots on the island'.
The bungalow was recently refurbished with new stone floors and fresh paint. Air conditioning was added in 2014. It is simple but comfortable. Enjoy coffee, lunch, dinner or cocktails from your private patio with table and chairs overlooking the Sea of Abaco with its amazing sunsets.
If you need add'l beds, please visit property #556603, our sister cottage 'Sandcastle' which is located on this same property and sleeps 4-6.
A vacation in Man 'O War Cay is easily attained: an hour's flight from West Palm Beach/Miami/Fort Lauderdale to the airport in Marsh Harbour, then a 15 minute taxi ride (taxis are abundant at the airport) through town to the Albury Ferry Dock. 20 minutes on the ferry delivers you to the island of Man 'O War, where our caretakers will greet you and deliver you to your own Bahamiam seaside cottage.

Guestbook comments from the manager
Just had to write a note this morning to tell you how much I love the White House.
Besides being next door to my dearest friend, it is spotless, comfortable and honestly speaking, "feels right"!!!
Maddy met me and is delightful and everything one would want in a property manager.

David grew up vacationing on Scotland Cay. It was his love of the Bahamas that brought us to Man 'O War during the spring of 2013.
Sandcastle (our residence) and the Whitehouse, sit on a 'sea to sea' property, offering exceptional views of both the Atlantic Ocean and the Sea of Abaco.
Close enough to the settlement to take part in the local flavor, yet far enough away to allow privacy and solitude. Enjoy the sound of crashing waves, walk the miles of beaches, collect shells in the peaceful low tides of the Sea of Abaco, or walk the 'Queen's Highway' to the 'low place' where the waves crash over the road.
