The place felt like a home. By this, I mean that it was very welcoming, comfortable and felt like walking into a relatives house. The decor had a very early 90s cabin feel and felt very cozy. 1 thing that stood out was how clean it was. It is very well maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary pots and pans, electric stove, toaster oven and microwave and the bathrooms were very tidy. The showers had good water pressure and both bathrooms had fans with added heating. The bedrooms were also very clean and comfortable to stay in. The space in general is perfect for the amount of people it holds, in our case 10. Only main concern is that even though they do a good job plowing the snow on the the driveway, it helps to have 4 wheel drive. It snowed all day on the Saturday we stayed and one of the cars we brought had trouble getting up the hill. We managed just fine but future renters should be aware that it does help and plan accordingly. The owner does not control mother nature. The house is 15 min. from Mount Snow and 20 min from Stratton's Sunbowl parking area. We went to Stratton Mountain and even tho the roads were snow covered it was perfectly fine. All in all it was a great experience and would strongly recommend for the next renter!
