Fully Furnished House with 3 bedrooms, Garden, Internet, Parking, 6-8 persons,

This spacious single-family house in Salzburg’s prime location Parsch, close to the historic city center, has a living area of 130 m² (1.400 Sq. ft.) plus Terrace, and 100 m² (1.076 Sq. ft.) Garden and is completely furnished. It sleeps comfortably for up to 6 people, max. 8 People. In front of the house is a free private car park for a maximum of convenience on your vacation. Children are welcome :)

Ground Floor

On the ground level there is a spacious, tastefully furnished living and dining room equipped with Sky TV, DVD player and free Wi-Fi internet access. Adjacent is a big terrace/lanai with a lovely quiet and green private garden.

The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, and washing machine. Additionally there is a dyer, flat iron, ironing board and a safe. On the lower level you will find an additional restroom.

Upper Floor

On the upper floor are three bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with a big bathtub. The master bedroom with a king-size bed is furnished very comfortably. The adjoining balcony provides a stunning view over the mountains and Salzburg Castle. The other two bedrooms are furnished with two single beds and a spacious writing desk.

In addition two fold-up beds are available. Enough bedding, hand and bath-towels are at your disposal free of charge.It will be our vested interest to make your stay with us as convenient as possible.

Close to the City Center - Great Transport Connections

Your vacation home is located in a tranquil prime residential area at the foot of the Gaisberg Mountain. The house is conveniently located for you to explore the city centre of Salzburg. You can reach the historic old town within walking distance or with the bus number 6, which offers a direct connection within 10 minutes. From there almost all important sights can be reached by foot. From the train station the same bus Nr. 6 brings you again with a direct connection within 20 minutes to our residence. In front of the house is a private car park which our guests can use for free.

Prime Infrastructure

A large and very well equipped supermarket is located just 5 walking minutes form the house with daily fresh pastries, meat, fruits and vegetables. Within walking distance there are various restaurants offering regional and international cuisine, a doctor and a pharmacy.

Perfect

I was traveling with my husband, twin 22 yr old daughters and 80 yr old mom. The house was PERFECT. Very clean, spacious for the family, comfy beds and pillows, kitchen had all any one would need to cook, beautiful neighborhood, parking for our car too. Salzburg is our favorite city so much to do and see and I wish we stayed longer. I did leave my jewelry bag and 5 items of clothing in the closet and the owner mailed the items to my home. I would highly recommend this property to all :)

Review #6689697 Excellent location, lovely green and leafy neighborhood with very easy access to the Old Town

We have just spent 7 weeks at this house in Parsch, one of the nicest areas of Salzburg. Although we booked the house in order to attend the Salzburg Festival, we found it very easy to visit the nearby towns, villages, lakes and mountains in the region and also in Bavaria. We were very surprised to find a very high level of English everywhere and and excellent public transport system, both on buses and trains. The bus stop and train station were only a short walk from the house, as were a good bakery and super market. We also enjoyed buying produce at the Thursday market at Mirabelle Platz. Because of the convenient location of the house, we frequently went down to the town several times a day on the Number 6 bus. A good tip is to buy a weekly ticket from a tabac, which is a great saving. The owner of the house kindly gave us the names of many good cafes and restaurants that were where the locals eat, and therefore reasonably priced. We particularly enjoyed the cafe society in Salzburg at places such as Cafe Bazaar and Fingerlos cafe. We had many visitors to the house over the period, and those who did not have tickets to the Festival enjoyed watching operas and concerts for free as films at the Dom Platz. Next time we visit we may spend less on buying tickets and enjoy the free films of performances. The house itself was in a lovely sunny position, yet kept cool during some exceptionally hot weather. Another very nice gesture from the owner of the house was to make reservations for us and for our friends for the shuttle bus service to Munich Airport. Because he speaks perfect English, we knew that if we had a problem with lack of German, he would help us out. Concerning the house, it was exactly as pictured, with a very nice outdoor patio and garden. The main bedroom was very large and had a lovely sunny balcony. Although the kitchen was by no means a designer version, it had a very good washing machine and dishwasher,,and enough cutlery, crockerymetc for eight people. Even more important, the wifi was excellent. We were also able to watch BBC television in English.. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and the beds comfortable.

Superb City Location

We had a wonderful week staying in this lovely house situated in a leafy residential area. It took us 25 minutes to walk to the centre of Salzburg but there are frequent buses for the less active. This house is accurately described and was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was spacious and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful and his English was excellent. Whilst staying we visited various Sound of Music locations in and around Salzburg.
We would thoroughly recommend this property.

This house will beat your expectations

After living in apartments at Paris and Munich we were expecting something compact. This house beat our expectations. It is spacious, clean, and conveniently located. You can sip morning cup of tea from your bedroom and enjoy the view of snow capped Alps. The house is well equipped and is very useful. If you have kids then this house is a good option. It has a small backyard where the kids can play. The neighbor hood is safe and very close to a school.

After staying at the house, we felt we should have stayed here longer. Salzburg has a lot to offer, and the amenities in the house made it hard not to extend our vacation.

The owner was very accomodative and made sure our check-in and check out was smooth.

Overall a 5 Star experience.

An easy five star choice

The house gets five stars promptly and here is why:

Star 1. Everything was exactly as advertised. Everything. Rooms, appliances, parking, exterior, even the tiniest detail. The photos are ok but they don't do justice to the house failing to reveal its warmth and inviting atmosphere.

Star 2. Amazing location. Again, the photos don't disclose the exceptional environment around the house and its privileged location. Quite residential but with a country feel at the same time. Unbelievably quiet yet really close to the city centre (bus or bike or walk if you prefer).

Star 3. Very bright interior. Every room has at least one window with plenty of light coming in. Even the small WC downstairs has one. So, no need to turn on lights during the day.

Star 4. Inconceivably clean. Every little spot, every surface, every device, every cupboard, even those things that can get dirty easily were meticulously cared for and this helped unwind and relax. We have to admit that a clean house can hold an unparalleled level of intimacy. Our little daughter felt right at home from the very first moment.

Star 5. And last but not least, the host. Hannes was very welcoming, a very straightforward person. Very discrete - we only saw him upon arrival when he explained everything about the house and gave us the keys. He then left us enjoy our stay without any intrusion at all. He also was quite helpful arranging for our early departure on the last day.

There is little doubt that this may be the best house one can rent when visiting Salzburg for a week or more. It makes staying in this beautiful city even more attractive. And there is absolutely no doubt that this is our de facto choice should we ever visit Salzburg again in the future.

Comfortable Stay in Salzburg

This home is in a convenient location for visiting Salzburg, close to downtown, very close to a grocery store, and in a nice residential area. We had plenty of room for the six of us (our 4 children - 2 per room, each in individual beds - as well as a king bed for us to share), plus a nice eating/family area for eating and playing card games. The home is very well kept and comfortable with plenty of heating (if needed). There are two outdoor patios to enjoy - one off the master bedroom and one off the main floor. We did not get to enjoy them, as it was too cold, but they look nice for summer time relaxing or reading.

The home is very clean and the owner was friendly and helpful.

Salzburg is a wonderful city to visit and we certainly enjoyed our 3 days there visiting many of the sites and going on a couple of tours!
