.: Weather: Paphos is the main town on the west coast of Cyprus in the last few years Paphos has become one of the most popular resorts on the island. There are many places of historical and archaeological interest that are included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List and, according to the myths, Paphos was the home of Aphrodite, the goddess of love.
The weather in Paphos is typical for all coastal cities in Cyprus where, due to the sea, summers are cooler and winters are warmer than inland. However, the marine influence is the strongest here on the west coast. This means in the hot season it is slightly cooler in Paphos than in other cities along the coastline. On average temperature in the hottest months of the year, July and August, goes up to 30°C at daytime which is about 3°C less than in other coastal cities and 7°C less than inland. At night it rarely drops below 20°C. Temperatures for January and February are between 8°C at night and 17°C at daytime.
