This mid-level (no elevator) condo, located on the East side of Long Beach. It is a private community,gated and surrounded by lush tropical plants, with a pool and BBQ behind your assigned parking space.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed with a Serta mattress, 32' TV, private bathroom with shower, (no tub) and a view of the trees from your balcony. Bedroom 2 has a Serta twin bed with a small TV. It also connects to the guest bathroom with full bath and shower.
The living area has a 40' TV, basic cable, dvd player and a small sitting area with a dining table.
The washer/dryer are located in the closet on the balcony.
The kitchen has the essentials you need for preparing meals during your stay. You will not go hungry here in Long Beach; there is no shortage of places to eat here or surrounding areas.
You are about 5 minutes to downtown Long Beach, also to Belmont Shore. Huntington Beach known as 'Surf City USA' is about a 30-minute ocean drive on Pacific Coast Highway. CSULB and LBCC are both short distance away too.

I DO NOT recommend this unit for families with small children, because of the location and being on the second floor with a balcony.

I love the City of Long Beach, it is unique and diverse, a small town feeling in a large city, that is why I made it my home. I chose this property mainly because of the area, in the middle of the city, a well cared for community, gated, surrounded by palm trees and close to everything.
Very cute little condo just near the 405. The host Yolanda, thought of everything you might need and even had a welcome basket waiting for me upon checkin. Every time I had a question, she responded within 10 minutes and even stopped by a few times to supply a few items that I had asked for - like oven mitts. This being my first airbnb experience I didn't know what to expect and was really blown away by her responsiveness.
As for the place itself, it's a good size and both bathrooms are really nice - the master shower is ginormous. The master bed is super comfy and large - the second bedroom has a word desk and a working printer!
It's also short drive to Belmont Shores which is a very cute strip of bars, restaurants and salons.
My daughter and I spent the summer and things could not have been more perfect. The pictures and description only tell half the story. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished and spotless, with neat little touches and a bounty of high quality linens and towels. We felt like inaugural guests, with everything in brand-new condition. The granite kitchen is completely outfitted and a joy to cook in. Lots of extras like coffee, tea, spices, oils, and basic food staples were stocked. This enabled us to put together a few small meals before ever needing to food shop, which was greatly appreciated! The beds were super comfortable and the huge walk-in tile shower in the master bath is a dream. The second bathroom has both a hallway and entrance from the second bedroom, so we kept the hallway door closed to create a private en-suite for my daughter and she loved it. Walk-in closets, washer/dryer, air conditioning, dishwasher, cable, and reliable Wi-Fi all added to the overall appeal of this rental, along with having a garage. Eating breakfast on the patio is a peaceful way to start the day and we developed a nightly ritual of walking the few steps over to the pool, where we soaked in the hot tub and reminisced about the day. We spent two months here without a car and had no problem getting around. Whether we were heading to downtown Long Beach, Los Angeles or San Diego, it was easy to tap into local resources and get around. The transit bus runs right by the complex and two large grocery stores and a multitude of restaurants and stores are within walking distance. The owner thought of everything and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She gave us complete privacy, yet was available whenever needed and provided a wealth of helpful tips and knowledge about the area. Her gracious nature truly enhanced the experience. Thank you!
There is so much to do in Long beach, but if you have the extra time, I recommend driving south along the coast to Seal Beach, a quaint beach town, farther down about 30 min away is Huntington Beach (Surf City), then continue down to Newport beach and Laguna beach.
