This charming East Sacramento loft is located above an artist’s studio within a spacious, gated complex. The 800 s.f. loft has been recently remodeled and is beautifully furnished with mid-century modern decor. Original art and sculpture create a dramatic, yet comfortable environment. The open floor plan includes a fully appointed kitchenette and two seating areas.
Enjoy the ambiance of this unique property which includes two outdoor dining areas, a hot tub and lovely Japanese gardens. The owner’s home is located on the site, so you can be assured that there will be someone available to help you plan your visit and to assist should you have any concerns or questions during your stay.
East Sacramento is centrally located and offers an ideal location for your visit to Sacramento. Historic homes and tree canopied streets provide an excellent area for walking. There are great restaurants, shops, galleries, coffee houses and even a winery within walking distance. Nearby McKinley Park is less than a mile away and offers tennis courts, a running track, rose garden, swimming pool and library. The location is convenient to major medical facilities including UC Davis Medical Center, Sutter Hospital and Mercy Hospital—all located within a mile of the property. The Convention Center is also nearby.
This is the perfect location for sightseeing in Sacramento. We recommend you visit the fabulous Crocker Art Museum during your stay. You might also consider the Railroad Museum, the Capitol and historic Old Sacramento. The freeway interchange is just a few blocks away and allows for easy access to the Greater Sacramento area as well as San Francisco, Napa, Lake Tahoe and the Gold Country.

I retired after 30+ years as a professor in the art department of Sacramento State. I continue to work in my home studio daily.
