The apartment is very convenient for taking the Metro to the center and tourist areas. Pots, pans, plates, etc. made it easy to cook from scratch or reheat food from the nearby pizzerias/ tavola calda/kebab places (all good) that were indicated in a map on the wall. The cupboards contained some miscellaneous provisions (salt, sugar, pepper, tea, coffee, oil, balsamic vinegar, pasta, rice) which was convenient. There were also tourist brochures, board games, ironing board, etc. The place was clean upon our arrival and we did the cleaning for the rest of our one-month stay, using cleaning supplies in the house. Linens and towels were not hotel-grade but were clean. Hot water was plentiful. Shower stall is the typical European size. The place was reasonable for us (2 people), but the 2nd bedroom is definitely much smaller than the main one. Owners were responsive to our requests if anything was missing or required attention. If they were not in, we just left a note. The winter weather was humid and cold during our visit, and this affected indoor conditions as well. The heating turns on for a few hours in the morning and in the evening, and the timing can be changed upon request. There is a thermostat inside the apartment. We did not use the terrace, but it certainly looks like a wonderful place to hang out in summer. Regardless of the weather, we had a great stay. Rome is always full of interesting things to do, see and eat!
