Ski: If the snow conditions permit, the athletes interested in winter sports can use the cross-country ski trails on the Isar and in the Grünwald forest region. You can reach the Tegernsee valley and the region of Lake Schliersee in only 30-45 minutes. The Spitzing Lake has a big ski-circus which is the specialty of the Schliersee ski region. The ski regions of Wendelstein and Bayrischzell are for the skiing experts. All these places can be reached by car or public transport and are only a short distance away. The complete Tegernsee, Schliersee and Bayrischzell valley offers a large network of well-tended cross-country ski trails with several traditional stops for rest and refreshments.
