Val Gardena and the Dolomites are one of the richest flora regions of the Alps.
In winter the whole ski-area is the most extensive ski-carousel in the world: the Dolomiti Super ski. The enchanting Sella Ronda permits you, in one day skiing 26 km, to encircle completely the impressive Sella Massif travelling through the fairy-tale alpine landscape.
St. Ulrich/Ortisei is the relaxing but buzzing main village of Val Gardena. The ideal starting point for skiers and hikers. An interesting mix of colourful bustle and proud tradition. In particular, the unique Dolomite backdrop makes this 'little Alpine town' the most popular holiday destination for our guests. Besides the cultural activities there are also many other free-time possibilities to chose from. The beautiful pedestrian area with cosy cafés and great opportunities for shopping will make your holiday an unforgettable experience.
Golf: You can reach the ' Golf Club Kastelruth' by car in 20 minutes. In this quiet and idyllic area situated in the middle of the Dolomites, playing golf is a great experience. Open from March to November (altitude 850 m) the 18-hole golf course stretches on an area of about 60 hectares, perfectly embedded in the landscape. Idyllic ponds, ravines, brooks, fascinating waterfalls and long fairways alternate with easier paths. Beginner, professional players - we can satisfy all your needs.
