Apartments with sea view near the beach in the quiet bay of Cala Molins

We, being a family of four including 12yr and 14yr old children, have absolutely no reservation in recommending apartment Alba Mar Gran, Calla Mollins or the wonderfully helpful and attentive Karin and Jaime Vogt. We had a great stay in a hot week in mid August and although we moved on to a considerably more expensive apartment for a second week in Puerta, we were all agreed that we felt more at home in Mar Gran. The apartment is very close to the fantastic Calla Mollins beach but, because Mollins is by no means overly built up, it was perfectly peaceful at night - just gentle chatter from the Alba restaurant downstairs (which we'd recommend). That said, we ate in mostly and the apartment kitchen was equiped with everything that we needed. The apartment was otherwise comfortable, with many design flourishes and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Through booking to arriving and staying at Mar Gran, Karin and Jaime, the owners, were very friendly and helpful - their service added a much appreciated personal touch. Calla Mollins could be enjoyed without a car, there is a good bus service to Puerta and old Pollenca, but we were glad that we had a car for the week that we were there. Night life in Mollins is available but limited, we were perfectly happy but if all night bar hopping is your thing then maybe Mollins is not. Mar Gran offered very good value and we will certainly give consideration to booking with Karin and Jaime again.

We stayed in this wonderful apartment in Sept and had a lovely peaceful holiday. Its in a great postion in a very friendly quiet village.The beach really is two minutes walk away and it has beautifully clear water which is great for snorkling which we did every day!
Pollenca and Port de Pollenca are both very near by and have all the facilities and restaurants you could wish for.
There are lots of beautiful walks and places to visit in this very picturesque part of the island.We wish we could have stayed longer to visit the north coast and Palma too but we'll be back and hope to stay in Alba Mar again.
The owners, Karin and Jaime were so helpful and welcoming.The apartment was very comfortable and clean and very relaxing with 3 very good restaurants nearby.
We would recommend either this or the studio apartment for a sunny warm and stress-free holiday for couples like us or a family.

We stayed in July 2010 in the Alba Mar Gran Apartment, part of the Alba Apartments in an excellent location - 2 minutes from the beach. The apartment is modern, welcoming and spacious. It is also extremely well-equiped for a complete self-catering holiday. There are excellent restaurants, beach bars and mini-supermarket all within easy walking distance. The proprietors are very attentive and no small requests have been a problem during our stay. We would certainly recommend this property for a relaxing holiday.
