The Caribbean Island offers 3 king-size suites plus guest room - approx. 2,422 sq ft under air (4-zone A/C) plus a huge pool plus lanai area on a 13,200 sqft lot with tropical garden.This is not a regular rental home! We use the house for our vacation, later for retirement. Southern exposure on wide saltwater canal with Caribbean landscaping in the quite but central Golf-Club Area in SE Cape Coral. No long distances as to the SW. The living area is open style with kitchen/serving bar plus dining room-cathedral ceiling. It is allergy-friendly with ceramic tiled floors throughout. W-LAN High-speed Internet at no additional cost. The highlight: stunning electrically heated oversized 'disappearing edge' pool with unobstructed view, and a spa (electric heat). We offer a large screened in pool area -complete width as the house- incl. lanai. Private boat dock/sun deck. You have direct access to the Gulf by boat in just 13 min – no lock, just 1 bridge. Unique Standards - Safety: The Caribbean Island is unique as it is custom built according to our wishes and high demands. It is designed to customers' requests and built according to the latest hurricane standards for your safety. The house is launched for vacation rentals in January 2008. On request we supply you with another website with plenty of pictures of this beautiful home.

Boaters will love the short only 13 minute ride to the river. Of course we have a boat dock on which you also can relax in the sun. You can dolphins, manatees regularly. If you like to tackle you will also like the boat dock that protects you a little bit from the wind. Boat: A Chapparal 25.3 ft. - 285 HP 5.7 l Volvo Penta or a Chapparal 26.2 ft. - 280 HP 5.7 l Volvo Penta can be rented from Cape Escape Boat Rental. You get a contract via us. The boats are insured, which is confirmed in the contracts. Please ask for details.

To get to the Caribbean Island is quite easy. The easiest way is to book a flight to Southwest Florida International Airport, Fort Myers, which is loacated just 30 minutes from the house. You can pick up your rental car directly in the aiport! There is no shuttle neccessary any more! From Miami International the ride is about 2:30 h and from Orlando International 3:20 h.

We personally selected premium furniture, blending colours and design to reflect our Caribbean and Mediterranean influences. The loving 'fine tuning' and luxurious and extensive furnishings give this residence an exclusive and unique charisma. All this made our wish of getting our own 'island' come true. Enjoy the life of Dolce Vita in and on our Caribbean Island! - By the way: Not only hobby cooks will love the excellent kitchen with its stunning granite counter tops and the perfect range of equipment including cooking pots from the world famous German market leader Fissler.

  • Please compare the price +what you get for it! The complete width of the house behind is a terrace, plenty of space with an oversized pool with one if a kind screenwindow for a free view! As we (private owners) use the house, too, the equipment is excellent. Rates in US $/week 2 adults +2 kids to 12: USD1580 - USD1850 or EUR1150 - EUR1350. Please find a detailed price list under the link to us all the way down on the right side where you can see virtual tours also. Minimum 2 weeks stay is required during Easter and Christmas. Maximum occupation: 6 adults plus 2 children. Rate includes: Bedding, hand-, shower- and beach towels, service for pool and garden, garbage collection, basic charge for TV and telephone, local calls, water, gas (grill), W-LAN high-speed Internet access, service of bilingual property manager (German and English). Superb Property, Great Owners

My husband and I holiday in Florida every year and prefer to stay in a different villa each year.
The Caribbean Island looks wonderful on the website and lives up to the description.
The villa was spotless and had all of the amenities you could need.
The local manager was great. We met her on a previous property we rented and she is very friendly and efficient.
I could not believe how thorough the owners had been, they thought of everything and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The villa is in a wonderful location and although has a property either side, it is private and quiet.
We were able to heat the pool and spa to whatever temperature we wanted and there were lots of pool toys in the outside pool storage.
This was the 8th time we have stayed in Florida and this house was the best we have stayed in for location, facilities and care provided by the owners.
We like staying in a different villa each visit but I think that we will have difficulty in finding another villa as nice as this. I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone.

What we expected - and then some

We stayed for 5 weeks and loved every moment. The house was just as described and the pool was just big enough for my fitness swims as well as for kids play. The dock was great for sunbathing and fishing (caught enough to eat many days). The floorplan allows for good privacy for 2 families and sleeps 6 very comfortably. The guestbook was very helpful. The great beaches of Sanibel Island and Lovers Key
were nearby, wonderful for long walks and beachside play. Loved the Mad Hatter restaurant on Sanibel Island (many good restaurants there).In addition to local sights, don´t miss Naples, Sarasota and the Dali museum in StPete if you have the time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great pool, hot tub, spacious rooms, clean facilities, and a lovely view. It was a nice vacation for all ages as we ranged from age 2-60 yrs.

A week in this beautiful property was not long enough! Everything was wonderful and more than any other property we have stayed at! Fishing from the dock was very successful and we could even watch dolphins swimming down the canal. Looking forward to coming back again!

Great Value for Your Money - Excellent Equipment

This amazing home is by far the most beautiful vacation home we have ever stayed in. The luxury villa is immaculate with an outstanding equipment. We loved to cook in this kitchen - equipped with professional cookware - uncomparable to any other places! The house, pool and garden were very well maintained and clean. The TV/audio system is great. The bedrooms are spacious and there is plenty of space for 2 families. The Villa is in a great location and the view above the intersecting canals is outstanding. The infinity pool is another unique feature of this villa. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We got great support in renting the boat. We went to Coya Costa State Park, to Sanibel and Captiva and were pretty often lucky to see so many dolphins.
As we felt at home straight away and everything was excellent we would highly recommend this gorgeous villa to anyone looking for a luxury vacation home. We cannot wait to come back!
