We really look forward to welcome you in our spacious, beautiful and comfortable apartment right near the centre of the city. The studio is designed with various vintage finds, seventies design and pieces of art. You can enjoy the secluded, Mediterranean garden in the back. An oasis after the hustle and bussle of the day!
The apartment features a shower, bathroom, kitchenette (including fridge, microwave and Nespresso machine), large table, a day-bed and a double bed, which can be made up as two single ones. Ideal if you are with 2 or 3 people. The first floor houses another big room with one or two sleeps and a very nice, romantic, small, separate extra bedroom. There is also the second bathroom and shower. Ideal to have both floors if you are with more than 4 people. We can arrange several combinations.
The city centre is within easy reach, 10 minutes by bike or tram. Restaurants - easy going as well as top rated - and breakfast or coffee corners are within walking distance.
We love to show you our beautiful Amsterdam for locals!
Paul is an interior designer and creator ( tables, bookcases, kitchens , garden houses ,etc. ) and Bonnita is a photographer and artist ( she makes beautiful collages!)
Paul Tegenbosch purchased this apartment in 1997
our property is a beautiful family house , built in 1902 with 4 floors, a nice garden and a sunny balcony. The street view is typical Amsterdam with a fountain in the middle and trees around. In 2009 we built a double atelier / studio / apartment in the garden with own entrance in the side street. It is a multi purpose inspiring building in which you can live , work and create. Recently we started the B&B in there.
Close to the inner centre of Amsterdam and still quiet and save. The area is very family- and child friendly and trendy because of all the facilities like restaurants and shops, but also schools, sports and cultural places and parks. An ideal area to live as a local!!
My family and I were lucky enough to spend New Year’s in Amsterdam and blessed to spend it in this wonderful home. Do not be fooled by the term "studio" it is spacious enough for a family and cozy enough for a couple. There were four of us and we had plenty of space! My parents stayed in the bottom room which included a kitchen area, full bathroom and large bed. This is where we spend most of our morning and evenings. My husband and I stayed in the upstairs space, which had a spacious living/dining room a full bathroom, kitchen area and large loft bed that was very comfortable.
We had a wonderful time celebrating New Year’s here – Amsterdam displays fireworks like no one else! The neighborhood around this property turns into a huge block party with the whole neighborhood at Midnight and fireworks light up the sky from all directions. It is loud, but well worth it! I would love to go back!
There is Public transportation close by and it is easy to navigate – (FYI -you buy your tickets on the bus/tram) and you can do daily passes or hourly passes. I thought the best way to experience Amsterdam was by bike! Everyone bikes and the city is very bike friends. There is a beautiful bike trail right behind the apartment and it is a beautiful route. Paul and Bonita recommended a great bike shop right around the corner from the apartment – that was very affordable. There are two grocery stores close by and plenty of restaurants. Most things are cash only, but there are ATM’s on every corner.
We cannot Thank Paul and Bonita enough for the hospitality they showed us during our stay. When we arrived they had a map of Amsterdam for us and marked where all the restaurants, museums, grocery stories and transportation were located; it was very helpful. Paul made us fresh squeezed orange juice each morning, even when we had to be up at 6:00am to catch our flight! Bonita gave us each an Oliebollen (Dutch pastry) to celebrate the Dutch New Year and took care of booking our transportation to the airport. They were the best hostesses and made us feel right at home. This is a perfect place to stay while exploring an amazing city. I hope we can return soon.
See you soon!

Bonnita + Paul were more like kindred spirits. Quite open, warm and inviting which transfers over to the aesthetic of the place. We automatically felt right at home and cringed at the thought of having to leave. Who can find fault in this place?! Fresh juice in the morning, amazing advice on where to go, quiet and friendly neighborhood centrally located.
We could have easily spent more time because it truly felt like an extension of not only our home but our family.
We hope to visit again and again.
love + light
We spent 3 quiet nights as a family with our two sons (15 and 12) and enjoyed the very peaceful and special atmosphere of this place. The beds are very comfortable, there is great attention to details and to have a little garden in Amsterdam is truly magic. The lovely studio is about 10 minutes by bike from the center and there are many nice and trendy restaurants and shops in the vicinity. Paul and Bonnita are very welcoming and helpful, which makes all the difference. I can fully recommend this place, which looks even better in real, than shown on the pictures.
We spent an enjoyable six days in These apartments. Unique and remarkable about our stay was the personal hospitality of the owners and hosts. On the last night of our stay they invited the three of us to dinner with members of his family and extended family. He expressed an interest in our family and the reason for our visit, and engaged us in extended conversations from time to time.
That our accommodations were comfortable and convenient needs no elaboration. The photographs do them justice.
I do wish that we had located the microwave oven before the end of our stay. I guess it was in the attached apartment upstairs, and we didn't see it.
In any case the apartment was close to a grocery store, several restaurants, and a stop on a tram line.
This morning we said goodbye to Paul and Bonnita who were our gracious hosts in this charming studio apartment in East Amsterdam. We stayed there for three nights and had the main studio as well as the small bedroom on the second floor and two bathrooms. There was also a small kitchenette with sink, microwave, coffee maker, teapot and fridge as well as dishes to use. We enjoyed sitting in the sunny courtyard garden for tea in the afternoon. Paul and Bonnita welcomed us with tea, fresh-squeezed orange juice and provided a lot of useful information about the area. We highly recommend this place to couples and small families and will definitely stay here again in the future if the opportunity arises.
We can only echo the comments of the other reviewers. The apartment was tasteful, comfortable and quiet (I slept very well). I was a little worried about the location, being some distance from the centre, but this was not a problem at all. The local tram stop is a short walk form the apartment and we were easily able to access the sites and airport. There are shops locally for any essentials and we had a lovely meal at the local Italian restaurant. Paul and Bonnita were extremely friendly and helpful hosts, being easily accessible for any advice. We would have no hesitation in recommending Studio 24 and hope to return in the future. Thank you.
This save, quiet and trendy area Watergraafsmeer has many restaurants, shops, coffee corners and beautiful parks. By bike (rental around the corner) or tram you're in the inner centre of Amsterdam within 10 minutes but also in the 'polder' between the cows and windmills. Visit the famous museums like The Rijksmuseum, The Rembrandt House, the Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum. The weekly and monthly vintage markets like Noordermarkt and IJhallen as well as local biological markets are at easy reach.
