Beautiful Sardinian villa, close to beach, short drive from Alghero airport

A magnificent villa located just 200 m from the ocean and local shops, with incredible sea views, private swimming pool, large 1200 m² outdoor area and several verandas with plenty of outside space to enjoy meal times day and night.

Villa La Rotonda comprises one large main house with 3 large bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin and 1 with bunk beds) and a further two independent villas with 1 large double bedroom and 1 bunk bed bedroom each with their own living rooms and kitchenette, a total of 7 bedrooms sleeping up to 14 people.

The main villa has 2 bathrooms, a spacious lounge with beautiful sea views, two dining areas, well-appointed kitchen, utility room and a large circular courtyard with an outdoor BBQ.

It is possible to rent the main villa (3 bedrooms) on its own, or with just one of the independent villas (a further 2 bedrooms) and of course all 3 villas (7 bedrooms) prices indicated are for all villas sleeping up to 14 people, for prices for fewer people please get in contact.

Costa Paradiso facilities: Costa Paradiso is a private community that maintains its own roads and facilities, consequently it is very clean and well organised. Within the centre you will find a choice of supermarkets, gift shops, as well as an excellent fish mongers, butchers and fresh produce shops. There is an onsite medical centre available to residents (May to September). Costa Paradiso also has its own secluded beach, Li Cossi, which can be accessed by a short walk along the headland from the dive school. This delightful cove is well worth the visit. There is a tennis club in Costa Paradiso which residents are able to join during their holiday. There are various courts here and swimming pools and also evening entertainment. Costa Paradiso has its own dive school which is bookable locally. You can also take boat trips from here.

As Costa Paradiso is primarily a holiday village most shops are open seasonally (June- September) however May is especially beautiful in Sardinia for the array of wild flowers and ideal climate for walking holidays. The snack bars are open all year round and nearby Valledoria (20 mins drive) provides a large supermarket for out of season visitors. There is also a good supermarket at Badesi on the main road towards Alghero (approx 20 mins drive). There are also fresh food markets in the following surrounding areas all year round, these are definitely worth visiting; Santa Teresa - Wednesday (20 minutes drive), Trinita - Friday (10 minutes drive) and Valledoria - Saturday (20 minutes drive).

Situated on the north coast of Sardinia between Castelsardo and Santa Theresa di Gallura, Costa Paradiso is a private community known for the wildness of its land, and for the beauty of the Sardinian crystalline sea bordered by sandy coves and beaches. All the houses have been designed to fit in with the natural landscape. Costa Paradiso is a tourist village, with many facilties, situated approx. 25 minutes drive from Isola Rossa (peaceful beach town) and from Trinita D’agultu (typical Sardinian mountain village), where there is a market every Monday. The best local beach in Costa Paradiso, Li Cossi, is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Sardinia and can be accessed by a short walk along the headland from the dive school. Also discover the nearby beaches of Costa Tinnari and La Marineda (stunning sandy beach with restaurant facilities and water sports). Ideally located for both airports, Costa Paradiso is a short drive from Alghero (Ryanair) and Olbia (Easy Jet), the journey takes about 90 minutes by car, along panoramic coastal roads, and when you arrive - find yourself in a true paradise. The house is only 5 minutes walk from shops and restaurants.

  • To make a booking, 30% of the rent is required. This amount is non-refundable should you cancel the reservation.
    Full payment is required 2 months before your arrival date. An additional refundable deposit of Euro 500 against damages will be required 2 weeks before your arrival. Payments can be made in either Pound Sterling or Euro via bank transfer.
  • We open the swimming pool in the middle of April and close it at the end of September, but can be flexible.

Notes:
PLEASE NOTE: no matter how many of the villas you rent we will not rent any of the other villas to anyone else during your stay - the villa is private to you. Private off street parking for up to 3 cars. Both the independence have their own living area, kitchenette and bathrooms, as well as their own terrace with sea views and independence 3 has its own garden and street facing entrance. We can provide a baby bed and high chair upon request, this must be arranged when booking. Visitors with young children should bear in mind that the pool does not have a gate around it. We provide one set of fresh bed linen and bathroom towels per guest, as well as cleaning after your departure, however guests are requested to make sure rubbish is disposed of, the fridge emptied and cleaned, dishwasher left empty and the barbecue cleaned. Extra cleaning during your stay is available on request at a cost of €180 and needs to be arranged at time of booking.

The house makes you feel right at home in a second: lovingly and tastefully arranged, with a large and well-kept pool, situated directly at the waterfront. The area is quiet, thus we had a wonderful time to relax and enjoy the amazing sunsets with a proper cocktail. (The diving centre is only a few minutes away by foot and the operators are really kind and professional).

Man fühlt sich in dem Haus sofort wie zuhause: liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, einen großen, sehr gepflegten Pool, direkt an der Küste. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, wodurch wir eine wundervolle Zeit zum entspannen hatten und die unglaublichen Sonnenuntergänge mit einem passenden Cocktail genießen konnten. (Die Tauchschule ist nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Betreiber der Schule sind sehr herzlich und professionell).

We stayed with three families and it was wonderful, the two smaller houses are quite modern whereby the main house is a bit older but very comfy. Al houses were very well equipped. We used the pool intensively and the closest beach (rocks) is just 50m away, a beautiful sand beach is in 10-15 minutes walking distance. In Costa Paradiso you find everything you need (small super market, butcher fish shop restaurants) We can really recommend this place.
