About Cora Wyant
We will give you information about the owners, but you will mostly be dealing with the on-site manager, Cora Wyant, who lives near the property. Cora is a friendly, capable manager and cleaner and will do what she can to make your stay the best vacation you've ever had.
I, Bob Morris, grew up in Anaconda and after college I spent my career in Mexico and in Southern California working in the aerospace & electronic industries. I returned to the community of my birth after retirement. Home again! My wife, Joan grew up outside Chicago and has lived in Montana for the past 40 years. She was Director of the Western Montana Metal Health Center. We are currently retired and reside in Anaconda in the summer and San Diego, CA in the winter.
Cora Wyant purchased this lodge in 1993
Why Cora Wyant chose Georgetown Lake
We built this house after selling our electronics business in San Diego. We first owned a smaller house nearby but I always envisioned spend my final years on a mountaintop to see the sun come up in the morning and go down in the evening to fish, ski, hike and snowmobile right out my door. It's a dream come true.
What makes this lodge unique
We built this house in 1993 and we never get tired of the magnificent view over the lake. And to see the wonderful mountains, forests and animals and experience the beauty and craftsmanship of a log house is beyond description. if I had it to do over again I would not change a thing, neither the location or the house itself, there is nothing to compare it with. Western Montana is in a class all of its own and luckily it is still relatively undiscovered. We are so pleased to be able to share it with you.
