Sleeps four, two bedrooms, one double, one twin, two bathrooms, sofa bed

This Superior Penthouse is a short 200m walk to the Blue Flagged Beach which has sun loungers and parasols and a chiringita beach restaurant and lifeguards in the summer months.

The Penthouse accommodation consists of a huge sitting room and dining area; seats six, two large sofas, coffee table and 42in TV. Air conditioning. Panoramic size windows lead to the extremely large terraces with dining facilities and loungers; also BBQ area. The views from here are outstanding as are the terraces leading from the two bedrooms.

Beaches, Gibraltar and AFRICA. Bathrooms are marble clad & very modern. High tech kitchen: cooker, 4 hobs, large Siematic fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and all other electrical gadgetry needed for a perfect holiday. The gardens around the Swimming Pool are very attractive and close and safe for children. A lifeguard is employed during the summer months.

My parents were hoteliers so I naturally followed them with Hotel Management qualifications. Later on my career moved on to Interior Design.

We have had property in Sotogrande and Alcaidesa since 1983 and love the area.

Perfect holiday destination

Me and my family spent a wonderful week in this beautiful penthouse apartment in June this year. Facilities were great, the apartment was light, clean and airy, views from the balcony were stunning (we even had a clear view of the Rock of Gibraltar!) and the pools in the complex were absolutely perfect - very well maintained and big. My husband loved the local golf courses, and the beach and a few restaurants are just a short walk away. There are also several interesting villages and towns nearby to explore and a huge advantage (especially with a young family) is that the airport transfer is so short. All in all a great, relaxing holiday, we plan to return to this apartment next year.

Wonderful place to stay.

Beautiful apartment with fabulous views to Gibraltar. The apartment was very nicely furnished with a well equipped kitchen. Very well kept gardens and lovely swimming pools.We were very well looked after and were given lots of information about where to go and what to see. Local restaurants were good and we especially liked DBlanco which was on the beach. We would thoroughly recommend this.

La Alcaidesa is a beach & golf resort about 5 miles north of Gibraltar and 2 miles from Sotogrande. This is as far south as you can go in Europe.

Malaga`airport is 90 minutes to the north and Gibraltar is 30 minutes south.

Famous cities; Cordoba, Granada, Seville and Jerez, are all within reach for a day out. To the west is the Costa de Luz with great beaches and water sports and the city of Cadiz.

There are excellent supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and also most UK brand names in Gibraltar, including M&S, BHS and Morrisons.
