Ideal stay

My husband and I stayed in Pat's condo recently for a week's vacation. The location proved ideal for our needs: close enough to Dublin city center, close to pubs, restaurants, shops, etc. We were able to walk to meet our day-tour bus early on several mornings quite easily. The grocery down the way is very convenient and we utilized it several times. Being able to use a kitchen to cook meals was great. Everything was well-equipped and served our needs very well. Having 2 bathrooms was a nice bonus even though it was just the 2 of us, and the size of unit was impressive as compared to those in other countries we've visited.

One thing to be aware of: on the weekend, the hostel across the courtyard can be a bit on the loud side, but you only really hear the music when the door is opened and closed. It didn't cause us any major headaches. And, with regards to the hostel, we arrived in Dublin very early on a Sunday morning and we went over to their cafe downstairs and ate a lovely breakfast while we waited for Pat.

Dealing with Pat was a true pleasure. He was informative, hospitable, efficient and communicative. For a process that can sometimes prove daunting, this one was smooth sailing, all the way. I can't say enough good things about our dealings with him. We would most certainly consider returning to both the country and to Pat's condo again in the future.

Bright location with a bit of noise.

We were lucky enough to arrive during a warm spell in Ireland. We had to keep the curtains drawn during the day to stay cool. There is street noise from the hostel across the street at the Jameson distillery and very early mornings when there are events in the plaza below. The beds might need to be replaced as the springs pop in the smaller bedroom each time you move and the main bedroom was very uncomfortable also. We were told how to open the drapes with the cord only but the first time we tried to close them the cord broke due to aging. Pat did come along later to replace it. There is also noise in the utility room from the water pump that fills the tank and this happens every 3-5 minutes day and night. Ear plugs worked to stop the noise but we had to keep the windows closed to lessen the street noise. The market below had most everything we needed but we found the Super Valu store near the railway station to have much better prices on staples.
This apartment has great views out on the city and we were able to watch people at their worst down below in the plaza using it a a bathroom, both women and men, in the middle of the day.
The Brazen Head pub is just a couple of blocks away and is the oldest pub in Ireland with some great bands, helpful locals and decent food.

Week in Dublin

Stayed here with 3 other adults. Loved the location and layout of this apartment. Convenient location for pubs, Temple Bar, buses and rail. Pefect for group. Pat (manager) was helpful in showing us the lay of the land and offered suggestions of things to do. I would highly recommend this location for someone that enjoys some of the nightlife but also enjoys a quiet place to unwind. There are several pubs within walking distance as well as a market and several dining options. This apartment is also within walking distance to many of the tourist stops in Dublin. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location!

My husband and I enjoyed our recent six night stay. Pat was a friendly and helpful host.

The apartment is in a great location with grocery, restaurants and pubs (including The Cobblestone which is known for it's pick-up music sessions). The Old Jameson's Distillery is across the plaza and I recommend their Barrelman's Feast which runs, I believe, Friday and Saturday evenings. Also right outside of the apartment is the hop-on hop-off bus tour as well as the Luas. The last stop on the Luas Red Line is the DART train station where you can catch frequent trains to places like Howth and Malahide. Both were lovely half day trips.

The apartment was bright, clean and modern. This is the second time we've rented an apartment in Europe, and I wouldn't do it any other way--especially when you are traveling as a family.

Great Location and Manager

Nice apartment in a great location of restaurants, movie theater and Bars.
Great neighborhood Bar for music (no food) Cobblestone.

Music every night and mostly a local clients unlike Temple are which is overrun with tourists and considerably more expensive.

Pat is the manager of property and is a wealth of information and very helpful for anything you need.

Apartment is well represented by photos!

Awesome location to everything Dublin!

This place was great! It was in the heart of the city with walking distance to the Light Rail and Hop On Hop Off bus location. Also, has great restaurants and grocery literally downstairs. We also found a laundry mat 2 blocks away (since the dryer didn't work), so we were able to wash and dry our clothes. The only complaint is that there was only 1 bath towel per person for the entire week, so we have given that feedback to the owner. The owner was also great in letting us know where to go and how to get to places. Great experience!
