Hacienda Ensenada is a modern home located on over 4 acres of beachfront land in beautiful Rincon, Puerto Rico. This 4-bedroom, 4- bathroom home accommodates 10-12 people comfortably. The unit consists of a 'Main House' with living room, kitchen, Master Suite with bathroom, another bedroom with 2 Twin Beds with adjacent bathroom, and 2 separate bedrooms poolside with private baths each. It offers a private swimming pool, grill, Satellite TV and WiFi internet, washer and dyer, full kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. It is located a minute away from the famed Steps Beach, great surf spots and the Tres Palmas Marine Reserve. This would be an amazing place for a unrelated group to stay because two of the "bedrooms" are actually in separate buildings, each with their own bathroom. Large patio connects all three buildings, with huge table for dining. Beautiful ocean view, but you can't swim there due to the rock bottom. On the other hand, this means that no one is there, adding to the privacy! Good beaches are a short walk/drive away.
I've stayed in several places here in PR and this stay has been the best bang for the buck. Location directions are extremely accurate. The property is really well mantained. Neighborhood is really safe, we did not had any security issues. When the manager told us to bring only food...she really mean it! The property has everything you'll need !. Even local tree fruits!!!! Our kids loved the place. Note: rocky beach, only suitable for water sports. But there is a nearby beach spot (walking distance but better to go in car, you'll need umbrellas for the sun and water) that kids will enjoy.
I HIGHLY RECCOMEND this vacation rental. WILL return next year for sure
I can’t find words to describe the amazing time we had as a family and the excellent customer service being provided.
In May we attended a wedding in San Juan Puerto Rico. After the festivities some of our friends and family decided to extend our stay on the island and relax and decompress. We opted to rent a large house in the surfing town of Rincon on the northwestern part of the island. Our goal was to be away from town, near the beach, and to each have our own private space. Well, the Hacienda Ensenada at Tres Palmas Inn & Villas surpassed our expectations. The home is nestled above the ocean and surrounded by mango trees. There is a beautiful swimming pool on the grounds just for guests at this house. We each had our own spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated bungalow or bedroom. The main house had a large fully equipped modern kitchen, dining area, and living room. We however, spent most of our time in the outside living area surrounding the pool. Our morning and evening meals were eaten under the large protected patio and evenings were spent lounging on the chairs or hammock that surrounded the pool. Every evening we were serenaded by the famous tiny frogs (coqui) and gentle ocean waves and during the day we were entertained by the multitude of exotic birds that snacked on the fallen mangos on the ground… this place was simply magical.
What added to our little nirvana was the extraordinary staff who oversaw the property. The day we arrived Joyce was there to welcome us to Hacienda Ensenada and provided a tour of the property and also provided us with recommendations for places to dine and sites to see. She would come by and visit us throughout our stay to make certain all of our needs were being met and to answer any other questions we might have regarding our time on this side of the island. Dan, who was in charge of maintaining the property, was also exceedingly helpful and informative. He made certain the pool and the grounds were in perfect order at the start of each day. Dan provided us with recommendations of where to snorkel and also good places to dine. We looked forward to our conversations with Joyce and Dan-they added so much to our stay in Rincon. Joyce also presented us with a treasured handmade candle that she created using small seashells and sea glass from the local beaches. A lovely memento of our time in paradise! I speak on behalf of the nine people who stayed at Hacienda Ensenada-this was a gorgeous setting and a place you could simply unwind and savor the beauty of the coast of Puerto Rico.
We have stayed here for 9 years and loved it. This year we stayed for 11 weeks and had enough problems that we reluctantly made other arrangements for 2014/15. The management changed this year and care for the property was unacceptable. Upon arrival the wi-fi was not working, nor was the house phone. Many of the accessories, like towels, sheets, dishes had been reduced, i.e. one set of towels & sheets per person/bed. Things that needed fixing from earlier years were still not fixed, i.e. no hot water in the kitchen sink. Turnover in maintenance staff was disturbing, response to needs from new management was ineffective. After weeks of this and no reassurances or response from the owner, we have chosen to find another place for next year.( And the 4 acre villa noted above is shared now by 3 additional villas under same ownership)

For your convenience-All of our vacation units are furnished with sheets, towels, kitchen appliances and utensils, wireless internet and satellite TV. Maid service is not included, but can be arranged for an additional fee. For stays over 5 nights, Mid-Stay Cleaning has been added for every 3 nights, cost will depend on the unit. Our units do not include groceries. We provide you with a starter set of Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Liquid Dish Soap. But you must provide your own for the rest of your stay as well as personal toiletry items such as bath soap and toothpaste, etc.
Reservations- A deposit of 50% is required at the time of reservation by Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. The balance is due 30 days before arrival and will be charged to the credit card number we have on file one month ahead of arrival. If less than 30 days until check-in, payment in full is due at time of reservation. No reservations should be assumed until the initial deposit or payment is made and a confirmation letter is received by the guest from Tres Palmas Inn & Villas. Please consider not making any travel plans that cannot be changed until you have received your confirmation letter. Vacation Units cannot be held without a deposit. First payment will have the reservation.
Remember: 7 day holiday minimum stay is required for reservations between Dec. 15 and Jan. 7,
all deposits are non- refundable. No exceptions will be made for such dates.
Security-We require a $500 Security/Deposit or a valid credit card number on file. The renter will be charged for any damage or loss made to the property from the damage deposit. The renter will be charged $25 per lost towel, pillow or linen, $50.00 charge for each lost or non-returned key and a $50 charge for each lost or non-returned remote control for TV, audio equipment, gates, fans and air conditioners.
Check-In time is 3:00pm. Guests arriving between 6am-3pm will be charged an additional half-day rent, if the unit is available.
