Fiscardo is a village located about 54 km N of Argostoli in Erissos in the northernmost end of the island of Kefalonia. The origin of the name comes from Robert Guiscard who was the most remarkable of the Norman adventurers who conquered Southern Italy and Sicily, and spent here a great part of his life in the time of the Frankish (Norman) dominion in Greece. During the Roman era Fiscardo was called Panormos and was considered an important commercial port and a Roman resort.

Fiskardo is the main tourist destination in Kefalonia, mostly because of its natural and safe harbour that attracts every year hundreds of yachts and sailing boats, but also for its perfectly intact nature.

Simply the best place to stay in Kefalonia

This is our 2nd year at Fiskardo View Villas. I only wish we had found this place 4 years ago when we first came to the Island.

These villas have the best views over the harbor and over to Ithaca and are a short stroll away from the local restaurants and bars down in the main town.

The villas are exceptionally clean, with a daily cleaning service and the owner is on call whenever needed. I would have no doubt in recommending these properties to any of my dear friends and family.

This is our second visit to this beautiful villa fitted out to a very high standard and perfect for families and freinds.The location is ideal for Fiscardo over looking the harbour and only five minutes walk although if you have mobility problems you will need a car. The layout allows for privacy for two couples each bedroom having a balcony and its own access from the outside and a well laid out groundfloor with fully fitted kitchen and dining/loung area.The outside pool is great for a dip and plenty of room for sunbathing and having a barbecue. The villas really have the wow factor and great fro relaxing. Elina the owner is very friendly and helpful the booking is straightforward and a nice welcome pack is there for you on arrival. We will be looking forward to next year.

I rent the Levanda villa for a week in August. I highly recommend it. Amazing view, facilities and location. One minute walk to fiscardo bay, nice pool, cool and romantic atmosphere during day and night, quite.
