Luxury villa with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sleeps up to 6 persons

Newly opened in 2010, Almond villa is a two story villa (120 sq/m), situated in a 600 sq/m private garden, with two bedrooms (one on each floor) which provides great accommodation for 4–6 persons.

On the ground floor there is an open plan living and dining area with sofa (which transforms easily into a regular double bed), satellite 48” LCD TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi, free WiFi internet and fully equipped kitchen with fitted oven, fridge, coffee maker, microwave, washing machine etc.

Thanks to the uniquely designed full glass frontage of the living area you have direct access to the patio and the pool area as well as fantastic sea views. Next to the kitchen is the bedroom with a large double bed, also with direct access to the patio, and a modern bathroom with very spacious shower and WC.

The first floor has timber-lined cathedral ceilings and consists of a large bedroom with a double bed, enormous wardrobe, big balcony with breathtaking sea views and large bathroom with bathtub and WC.

All the rooms are air-conditioned and there are insect screens as well as electric sun blinds and electric roller shutters in both bedrooms for sun protection and complete darkness in the night.

The house offers a beautiful garden, a pool area with sun beds and umbrellas, a big patio with garden furniture and a BBQ area. Private parking is also provided. All verandas, the balcony and the whole pool area have magnificent sea views.

The village of Kalamitsi is one of the oldest villages of the island, located on the west coast, 16 kilometres south of the capital (Lefkada town).

Almond Villa is located within an almond field at the edge of the village. Its excellent positioning ensures a spectacular view of the Ionian Sea, breathtaking sunsets and total privacy.

Although located in a mountain area it is only 4 km from the magnificent beaches (Kathisma, Mylos, Kalamitsi) where you can enjoy swimming in crystal clear waters and true relaxation.

    The villa is available from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival. Guests are requested to vacate the villa not later than 10 a.m. on the day of departure.
    Changeovers on Saturdays/Sundays (in principal). If bookings allow it can be flexible.
    WiFi connection free of charge.
    Bookings are confirmed with a 30% deposit. The balance is due 6 - 4 weeks prior to arrival.

We, a family with 3 children, enjoyed our stay in Almond villa. The photos on the website are giving a good impression of the house. What you don't see is the peaceful and quite surrounding. We really can recommend this place. The service by the owners was perfect.

Beautiful place to stay

A private villa with fantastic views up in a mountain village. What you need to know is that the pictures of this villa are the real thing. Modern living with everchanging views.
We stayed a week travelled around the whole island (probably takes about 4 to 5 hours) and visited the Waterfalls near Nidri (free to get in) which are worth a visit but steps and stones to climb over. Also worth a visit if you like a beautiful beach is Egremni with breathtaking crystal sea and a long beach but be warned you\'ll need to climb down 350 steps which is not so bad going down but tough coming back up! Would say that you need a car or scooter to get around as the nearest beach is about 3km. Don't miss out on Agios Nikitas - it's a pretty little village with really nice tavernas.
This villa has it all and to top it all make sure you enjoy the wonderful air display by the cheeky swifts who fly down to the pool to drink and have a bath (whilst in flight) - its fantastic!!! Thanks to the owners for their care and attention and they really are nice people.
We can honestly say that it isn't too good to be true so we hope you have a lovely holiday just like we did.

Fantastic place

In the summer of 2010 we have spent a fantastic weekly holiday in Almond villa. It is a modern villa with excellent facilities set within an almond field overlooking the Ionion sea.
All the rooms in the villa including the bathrooms were spacious and very clean and the kitchen was fully equipped providing us everything we needed. Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast on the patio overlooking the pool area and the sea. All the windows and French doors had mosquito screens, so we could feel the cool of the evening without getting bitten.
The owners were very friendly and helpful, providing all the needs, and doing all their best to offer us the most pleasant holiday we could have.

It was one of our more memorable holidays and certainly money well spent.
We highly recommend this villa to everybody who wants to have beautiful relaxing holidays.

Thank you very much for the beautifull villa. Fantastic view, beautifull garden and very nice owners. We will surely come back as soon as possible for a 2 weeks vacation this time.

Truely wonderful holiday

We had a two week stay in September 2010 in this villa.
It is a very elegant, modern and stylish villa where you can see much care and attention for the details. There are two large and spacious bedrooms with their own bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen which has everything you could possibly need. The villa is in excellent condition and very clean.
Each room in the house is designed to take full advantage of the stunning sea view and sunset which can really take your breath away.
Also the terrace, pool area and the large garden is quite simply spectacular.
The villa owners were very nice and helpful and the service was excellent.
Romantic sandy beaches are just a short drive away.
We had a wonderful stay at Almond villa, it was all and more than we expected. The villa is simply beautiful and luxurious and has all the amenities one would need.
Already recommended this villa to our friends & family.
Hope to visit it again soon.
