Park your car and leave it when you escape to our newly renovated, two bedroom/two bathroom “Alpenview Suite” located in the best spot in Breckenridge. The Village at Breckenridge is one of only a very few complexes that is both ski-in/ski-out AND a stone’s throw to the town’s Main Street historic district. Facing southwest and bathed in tons of natural sunlight, our top floor corner unit seven stories above the Blue River has spectacular views from every window. While grilling out on your large private deck, enjoy a commanding 270 degree vista that stretches from Mount Baldy to Quandary Peak to the world-class runs of Breckenridge Ski Resort. Inside, we’ve completely remodeled our 1,200 square foot home-away-from-home with brand new carpet, furnishings, lighting, electronics, mattresses, and linens. Our suite features a wonderfully appointed kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and range, along with a crockpot, griddle, blender, toaster, and coffee maker. The large living and dining room area has a romantic gas stone fireplace, huge 60” TV with DIRECTV service and Blu-ray DVD player. Don’t feel like venturing out in the cold? You can “virtually” ski using our Wii gaming system. (We have 17 Wii games to choose from…or feel free to bring your own.) The upgraded queen-sized memory foam mattress on the leather sleeper sofa makes for a much better night’s rest than an average couch. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with Simmons Beautyrest mattress, ceiling fan, LED TV with Blu-ray player, separate tub and vanity areas, large walk-in closet, and direct access to the deck. Enjoy your morning coffee in the sitting area under the huge picture window, or curl up in a blanket in one of the comfy deck chairs. The second bedroom features two queen-sized beds with Sealy Templeton mattresses, ceiling fan, LED TV, separate bathroom, and its own private balcony. Free wireless internet throughout the suite. We’re not a hotel chain or big corporation…just a family whose dream was always to own property in the mountains. We love Breckenridge because it’s a real town with a real history dating back to 1859, much of which has been carefully preserved in Colorado’s largest historic district. The skiing is fabulous, but the summers have kept us coming back since 1999. You CANNOT get bored here: outside of the amazing array of winter sports (downhill skiing, cross-county skiing, heli-skiing, snowboarding, sledding, snowshoeing, tubing, ice skating, snowmobiling, dogsledding, ice climbing, sleigh riding), there’s a dizzying array of 3-season outdoor activities like hiking, climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding, golfing, white water rafting, kayaking, ballooning, swimming, running, tennis…pretty much something for everyone! Our condo is a great, peaceful escape for our family, and we’re anxious to share it with you on your next mountain vacation!

This condo gives our family of six room to spread out. The bedrooms are separated by the living room and entryway, affording a lot of privacy. The location of the Village at Breckenridge can't be beat...ski-in for lunch and walk to just about everything in town. Fabulous Spacious Slopeside Condo

We loved our stay at the Village! The condo was very spacious, with two bedrooms, and two full, en suite baths. The bedrooms are at opposite ends of the condo, which gives you privacy and quiet for each room. The second bedroom is huge! The front entrance is down a hallway from the main living area, and provides plenty of storage for skis and gear. The kitchen is well appointed and the condo is nicely furnished with comfortable, upscale furniture. The location cannot be beat, steps away from the Quicksilver lift. Loved the balcony which faces the slopes. We paid for the heated parking, which was so convenient, right under the building. The Wii games for the kids was a nice touch.

Owner's Response: We couldn't agree more! The layout of our condo is really an advantage over other units in the complex. With four kids of our own (including two teenagers), we appreciate the room to spread out. The bedrooms are separated by the living room which makes our kids feel like they have their own space...and we have ours! I think our condo is well-suited for a family (or even two families) that wants to be close but not on top of each other. And the Wii entertainment system, positioned strategically in the central living room, is a great place to meet up for a rousing game of Guitar Hero!

Great Location with amazing view

This is a perfect location, right at base of Peak 9, where you can rent skis from 3 different places all within walking distance (one in the buiding).

The living room view was my favorite - we pulled chairs up to them and just sat there with our coffee. Too cold to go on the great balcony:)

Quick walk to 3 of my favorite restaurants!

If you have children, the pool is in a separate building, so just a heads up that it is a bit of a walk and parents would likely want to accompany.

Owners were super helpful and easy to work with....

If your going for a condo, I would recommend this one!

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review and heads up to other parents about the pool. The health club, pool, and hot tubs are located next door in the Peak 9 Inn building...about a 50 yard walk across the plaza or through the heated parking garage. It's not a far walk but, certainly, parents would want to accompany their children. Like most condominium pools, there is no life guard on duty, so I hope parents would want to, anyway. Plus, the health club has lots of fun stuff for adults, too! In addition to the heated indoor/outdoor pool (open year round), there are four outdoor hot tubs, sauna, steam room, treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical machines, weight equipment, vending machines, locker rooms, and a newly added bonus...massage and spa services!

Wonderful location!

What a wonderful condo! Located right in the thick of things in breck, you cannot be the location. Some friends and I stayed here for a few days in early February and absolutely loved it. Waking up to gorgeous views and only having to walk a mere 50 yards to the lift was great. Easy access in and out makes for a much more enjoyable ski trip. At the end if the day it was nice to relax in the tub and unwind. Finding somewhere to eat and enjoy some nightlife was never a problem only having a five minute walk to almost anything in breck. The ward family were great to work with and helped me out with anything i needed. Highly recommend this place to anyone who simply enjoys breckenridge.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. We also love the sweeping views out the picture window in the master suite. We could lay in bed for hours looking at the mountains along the Continental Divide! Our location on the top floor, corner of the building in Breckenridge's most conveniently located complex simply can't be beat. Even for little legs, the walk to the lift in ski boots only takes a few minutes. And the walk to the Main Street historical district is equally as close with all its restaurants, shops, galleries, museums, spas, and Victorian charm.

Location, Location, Location... Right in the heart of Downton Breckenridge AND walk to lifts and ski school. Perfect for our family 5 with 3 young kids. Great easy rentals at Breeze in same building or Breck. Sports at Maggie. This corner unit is at the top floor with lots of great views. Very clean and comfortable with 3 large beds and pull-out couch. Even some kid toys to help entertain youngsters. Helpful owners. HIGHLY RECOMMEND......

Owner's Response: You're absolutely right...location means a lot. I believe ours is the best in town. Our condo is almost 1,500 square feet...nearly four times the size of an average hotel room. We have a well-stocked kitchen with full-size appliances, 3 "smart" internet-connected televisions, 2 BluRay players, Wii gaming system, and sleeping for 8. Both bedrooms have balconies and majestic views. Come, spread out, and enjoy!

Friends ski vacation

This condo was great! It was very clean and very well kept. Ther is 3 beds and a pull out cowch. Two full bathrooms and a full kitchen. We had 4 guys in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. We had a car, but didn't use it. Everything you need is within walking distance. Including (grocery store, restaurants, gifts shops, bars and best of all the ski lift). The 4 hot tubs the building has came in great after a day of skiing. There was also a indoor/outdoor pool.

The owners were great, and made everything very easy for us to get in and out. Their communication was fantastic! Much easier than going to a standard hotel.

Besides being a very nice condo, the best thing we enjoyed was the location. It sits right at the base of peak 9. Walk out the door, and you are on the chair lift in less than 10 minutes (depending on how fast you get your ski's on). The slopes shut down around 430-5 depending on daylight, but that's when the town gets going. One block from your room and your downtown. The nightlife was great. The restaurants were great. I can't remember the name, but directly across from the room was a nice Mexican resturant with great happy hour specials.

If you are going to ski and you are planning on renting, I would recommend a company called the "Ski Butlers". They were great. Came right to our room and fitted everyone, and when we were done they came and picked everything up. Sweet and simple.

Owner's Response: We appreciate your review, and we're glad you found staying with us easier than going to a hotel. We've put a lot of thought into our guest experience. For instance, we wanted to make the check-in and check-out processes as quick and easy as possible. When we go on vacation, I hate searching around town for the check-in location, waiting in line, and being restricted to a specific arrival window. For us, check-in and check-out is self-serve, on-site, and at your convenience. No searching. No waiting. Easier than a hotel. By the way, the name of the Mexican restaurant across the street is Mi Casa...it's been around for a long time, has great food and Happy Hour specials, and a fantastic deck. In fact, nearly every restaurant and bar in town has some sort of après ski special going on...there's probably 20 or 30 within walking distance! Finally, thanks for your tip on Ski Butlers. It still amazes us that you can have just about everything delivered...ski equipment, groceries, liquor, restaurant food, kids' items like baby backpacks and jogging strollers...you name it and it can probably be delivered right to your condo door.

Outstanding!

This condo was perfect for us. The location was ideal for access to the slopes, restaurants, and the town. The condo was well-kept, clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable; kitchen was well equiped; pool, hot tub, and fitness areas were nice. Availability of heated, covered parking was a plus, although it was for an extra fee. The balcony faced the sun all day so that even in below freezing weather, on a sunny day it was comfortable to sit outside in short sleeves! Owner was very easy to work with and went over and above to make things easy and to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Definitely hope to stay here again!

Owner's Response: We'd love to have you back! We truly believe that our south-facing location on the top-floor, corner of the building is the best in the complex. The 270 degree view stretches from downtown Breckenridge and Baldy Mountain in the east to fourteen-thousand-foot Mount Quandary and the ski runs of the resort in the west. And, yes, because of our southern exposure one can soak up the view from the comfortable deck chairs year-round. Now, a word about extra fees...we hate them and we know you do, too. Many owners and property managers charge an extra cleaning fee and/or "resort fee" to use the internet and health club. Bogus, we say! Besides tax, the only additional fee you would ever pay to stay with us is for parking during ski season, and that's because many of our guests arrive by shuttle and do not need it. We don't make any money from parking...we charge what the complex charges us and it's still a relatively good bargain for having a guaranteed spot in the controlled-access, heated garage.

Breckenridge 'Free Ride' provides complimentary bus transportation around town. Summit Stage provides free bus transportation from Breckenridge to other locations in Summit County, including Copper Mountain and Keystone ski resorts, Frisco, Dillon, and the Outlet Shops at Silverthorne.
